How can I post a picture?

Hey, I've been having a hard time trying to post a picture... Please, help me...

I know I have to upload it to my album, and I have already done that, but I can't post it...

We freeloaders don't get to post the pictures in a message, that's something the subscribers get to do.

What you can do is just post a link to the picture. Just copy and paste the address you see when you are looking at the picture in your album.

under the quick reply box you'll see a box like the one below...

if code is on then you can wrap the link between two img tags like:

[php] [img] insert url here [/php]

If attachments are on (I think only freeloaders get to add attachments in the Media Contest forum), you can add it in an attachment by clicking the Manage Attachemnts button

If HTML is on, you can put the Image URL in a HTML tag like the following:

 <img src="url.jpg" alt="small description" title="longer description" />

otherwise, you'll just have to link to it.

The IMG code is on, but I am not allowed to post attachments...
url is what I see written on the top of the page when I see the pic??? Like photoalbums.wdwmagic... etc?

yep, the address of the picture

either from the address bar, or by right-clicking on the picture and getting the address from Properties

(psst, here's a trick I used before I upgraded my membership. When you upload an image to your album, DON'T process it. Instead, just leave it in the "buffer" area and then click on the link to the picture there. That link will be a direct link to the image and should come up if you paste that URL in between img tags. Give that a shot..but don't tell anybody.) :wave:

Try replying with quote to my post (the one with the picture) and you will see the link. That's how I could do it, when I replied to mkt's post, I could see the link, just copied and pasted, and changed the url for the one I wanted to post, and... :sohappy:
