I left enough "crumbs" in my posts to say how we avoid the parking fee.

I don't know what theft you're implying.
At 11am on checkout day, our balance on our resort bill was $0.
No mention about any parking fee on our bill.

Crumbs? Parking at McDonalds and walking to the hotel? . You can always leave the car in the front where you check in also

Yes but I don’t believe they allow overnight parking.

Does anyone check out other than doing nothing but leaving? I cant recall the last time ive ever officially checked out.

Point is if you check in & tell them you have a car w/o a handicap pass you technically owe then $15 a day i believe at a value now. They have all your info on file etc. so i dk how they would allow you to not show some form of payment for your parking fee or send a bill to recoup the money you would owe for parking. If you choose not to tell them you have a car maybe thats the loophole. I dk. Either way it doesnt effect me

Maybe they figured these poor folks got hit with a hurricane, let's let em park fee. BTW did they offer guests any other things..maybe a free micky bar while you hunkered down?

We did not notice any other freebies other than several character appearances. The cast members on-site throughout the hurricane days did an admirable job though. Complimentary beignets would have been a great treat.
