You know'm and love'm.....Whether there at Caseys Corner at the Magic Kingdom, or out and about throughout the rest of WDW, people truly love Disney Hot Dogs, and for some, its on the top of the "must do" list....

Now....For My Question......

What kind of Hot Dogs are these????

It has to be some company. Like the Mac and Cheese is Stouffer's, where does Walt Disney World's hot dogs come from??? (yes, and i do know where hot dogs come from, im wondering what company these particular ones come from.)

Im just curious.......Thank you for any info,

I don't think I've ever had a Hot Dog at WDW. Definitely putting it on my list of things to eat for this trip.

Walk right down the middle of Main Street USA and stop at the end...turn to your left...walk straight...go up to the counter and order a "Grand Slam"

Mmm...I love Casey's :slurp:

Ahh! Yay Disney hot dogs!!!!

IMO they kind of taste like Nathan's... but I'm not saying they are because they might not be. But I think they kind of do.

Which Mac and Cheese are you talking about? I thought, on one of the episodes of 'Unwrapped: At WDW' (hosted by Mark Summers), there was several recipes of Mac and Cheese that the CM Chefs were trying out. with the kids. Would this Stouffer's version of Mac and Cheese be limited to in park dining... and the custom Mac is served at resort restaurants?

just curious.

By the way... I don't know where the doggies come from.

Stouffer's Mac & Cheese is served at The Liberty Tree Tavern, most of the resorts have their own recipes that they use.

Hmmm...I had one at WDW last week and I didn't think it was all that good. That was at Liberty Inn at the American Adventure pavilion. Bun was't the freshest and the dog was too big for it ~ plus all they had to put on it was ketchup or mustard. Seemed like a little dried up, mircrowaved hot dog.

Not my best dining experience. Then again, I also don't understand the turkey leg thing.

Bacon and Hot Dogs

Hot Dogs at WDW are like bacon sometimes they are good sometimes not so good, depending on their supplier.
I remember when the bacon at WDW was PERFECT about a decade ago and forward...it was perfectly cooked, formed and tasting...then about 5 years ago they changed suppliers and the bacon was very bad, then last year it was pretty good, now the last few months (breakfasting at Hollywood and Vine as reference), it's been horrid...it seems to get overcooked (burnt) easily (I figured it was just the one time, but then 2 weeks later and 2 weeks later again the same burnt crud), and it is completely uneatable.
Hot Dogs, too, are sometimes great...currently they are pretty darn good, especially with kraut
But I've had hot dogs at Casey's over the years that were plane horrible (probably Lykes...if you remember the bad name they got at Tampa Stadium for their horrible tasting dogs during a SuperBowl there)
What we need is a Hot Dog and Bacon taste meter on this site to keep us informed as to how they taste (and when they change vendors).

IMHO, the best hot dog in the "World" is at the ESPN Club. It weighs in at 1/2 pound! It's all I ever get when we eat there. I have to get one at least once every trip.

can't wait...107 days until then..
