Hot Dogs At Walt Disney World!!!!

My husband is the same way-he must have Casey's, ice cream from the Plaza ice cream parlor and beer from Africa at AKL every trip. Sure, I have my vices as well-chicken fingers and a treat from the Confectionery. I am not crazy about hot dogs, but I had a Casey's last September and it was very good. I can only tolerate hot dogs once a year at most-it's a mental thing. :lookaroun

OK I am a huge Casey's fan and just talking about getting a hot dog with some fries and dumping melted cheese over all of it is torture!

But, just when I never thought a better hot dog could exist than Casey's I went to Beaches and Cream. OMG!!! The ginormous Beaches and Cream hot dog with toasted bun and shredded cheddar cheese on top is my absolute favorite food on all of Disney property. I try to replicate it at home all the time at home, but it never comes close. :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:

I'm sorry, but how can anyone eat any hot dog at WDW? Nothing wrong with the dogs themselves, but the mustard... for god's sake, the mustard!!! Flourecent yellow mustard is a violation of the Geneva Convention, I think it's even banned from Gitmo. No spicy brown deli mustard, no hot dog. It's just that simple!

Yellow mustard is hot dog mustard.

I agree with you though, I like a nice spicy horseradish mustard myself.

Wow - you'd hate the neon green relish of a Chicago dog then...:lookaroun

Chicken Strips

I don't know where the hot dogs are from, but they sure are yummy! While on this subject does anyone know where the chicken strips served almost everywhere are from??

They are the highlight of my trip and I wish I could have some at home

Costco's 1.50 pizza and soda gut buster is the best. Throw in slice of pizza and you've accounted for a day's worth of calories

Yeah... I have a hard choice between the HD or the Slice of pizza at costco. Speaking of pizza.... I'm kinda hungry for some Pizzafarri. :slurp:

Oh Pizzafari.... I adore the kids quesadillas they sell there. SO good - especially with the marinara sauce.

Oh now I'm super hungry...

Kunzler sounds kind of right, which is an awful answer I know! Between me and my mother all we can be sure of is that they're from the Pennsylvania Dutch area of Pennsylvania. We think we know someone who knows definatley but haven't been able to get in touch with them to find out. I'll let you know once we can talk to them.

My friend hasn't checked back in, must be still working. As soon as I know I'll post.

It doesn't matter what kind it is...

If you're not eating it at WDW...

IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME!!!

By the way... I vote for Caseys... After Wishes...watching the castle change colors... with Kraut, relish and the red stuff..... (sorry...I'm alergic to mustard...)
