So, I need opinions on something..

Ok, so the Bridal Party introduction at our reception. We want to have some fun w/ this and do something silly, without it being “roll your eyes” dumb. :rolleyes:
I’ve seen some really cute things at weddings I’ve been to….one they played the Price Is Right song and they all came in w/ big flashy nametags to be introduced. :lol: Everyone was hysterical! At my friend Bryan’s wedding, the bridesmaids came in wearing jerseys from her fave NFL team, and the groomsmen came in in jerseys for his team. After they came in, they all did a little “go teams!” rival dance. It was really funny!

So last night I had the idea….to have them come in to the (band version, no lyrics) Mickey Mouse Club song, have the DJ yell "Roll Call", and have them do an old-school Mousketeer roll call. :lol: Maybe even wear ears. My mom had already had the idea (which I love) of having the last song of the night be the “Now it’s time to say goodbye” song so I think it would really fit. I ran it by my sister (maid of honor) and she loves it and thinks it would be perfect. DF is worried that people will think it’s dumb, but everyone knows how Disney crazy I am. :D I have promised him that I will keep the “Disneyfication” of our wedding to a minimum and I think I'm doing pretty good. :king: So far the only Disney touches will be our cake topper (the Precious Moments one w/ the Mickey ears) and the 1 picture I want taken w/ the Bride/Groom Mickey ears that I have.

What do you think? Cute? Dumb?

Good morning!

Steph - I LOVE that idea! Since everyone knows you love Disney, it'll be perfect. I love noticing little touches like that to different weddings that makes it special to the couple. It definitely makes it more fun!

What kind of position is Vince applying for? Would it just be in addition to his full-time job?

Rock Band, the video game, kicked my behind yesterday. I'm terrible at the drums. :rolleyes:

You love Disney....so why not have fun with it, as long as DF approves?

Vince is applying for part-time in addition to his regular full-time job.

Thanks. Sometimes I get ideas that, in my mind, are great but to the normal person are just plain goofy :rolleyes::hammer::lol::o

:lol: Yeah right! DF is skeptical about this idea, there's no way he'd go for that! :rolleyes: I'm going to run it by the rest of the bridesmaids but I think we'll do it. Hopefully the guys will go along w/ it, not like they have a choice. :king: Maybe I can even make them white shirts w/ their names on the front to make it really authentic. :D
