Science Fair Emergency!!! All hands on deck!
Is the following statement true:
"Static electricity can happen when two objects are rubbed together. This causes a transfer of electrons which gives an object a charge. When the object is put near an object with an opposite charge, the objects will be attracted to each other."
I suck at science and I am trying to write it in a simple yet true way for Em's science fair project. She wants to hand write everything so I am writing it out for her to copy.

And now Em is having a meltdown because I want her to write in the lines...I realize she is only 6, and I'm not correcting her letter formation (which is quite good, actually) but when her words start to go on top of each other, you can't read it. Sigh...well, I'm glad it's not just me. I mean, I'm not shooting for a blue ribbon here. But I think it's important that she learn that you have to put your best foot forward in this kind of thing...and I guess, by extension, life in general.
