Luther went everywhere with us, and DS absolutely loved him. We accidently left him at our friend's in Roanoke one year on our way to FL, and I honestly don't know who felt worse about it - him or me. He had to do without Luther for the whole 3 week trip, but when we got home, Luther had arrived by mail with a cute little note about how silly he was to hide under the bed in Roanoke.

I felt like the worst mom in the world that trip!
Yes it was, and even though we let him pick out another stuffed animal (a dog he named Up-Ears), every night he'd get all sad and weepy worried about Luther.Wow, that must have been a long three weeks!
We went though that with our DD. She still has the doll. :lol:Luther went everywhere with us, and DS absolutely loved him. Becky still sleeps with the stuffed dog that she picked out for herself when she was about 6 months old....
He was about 3 1/2 then. That was during his "costume" days - he had a costume for everthing, and so did Luther. His favorite was his Star Trek one, or his astronaut one.Awww! How old was he?
And don't tell me he was 16!
