Dude, I'm watching the movie RIGHT NOW. Freaky.

There was more security presence, but you probably wouldn't notice. They were also announcing his descreption over the private channel in the parks so everyone with a radio would be aware.

I was there during this, i was just checking in my bags for my flight by Cirque de Soleil when all of the Virgin and Disney Employees freaked and made us all leave ASAP (i think they also closed the shops and Quest cos all the employees were outside and in the car parks), soon the entire West Side of Downtown Disney was shut off and noone was allowed into the area, not even the car parks on that side. i was told it all ended around 1130 cos Virgin opened their check-in desks again.

I think its funny the Virgin store made everyone leave and locked everyone out.

I know they HAVE too but its still funny.

As much as we call Disney the most magical place on earth, it is literally in the nastiest of neighborhoods. If you travel outside of the Kingdom, its pretty much ghetto.

If that's what you consider ghetto, you've led a sheltered life.

Haha! Why don't you do a google image search on Winter Garden, Celebration or Windermere, FL. all located directly outside of the World. If that's ghetto then I must live in a third world country.

You're kidding.

Go to Parramore or Pine Hills and THEN you'll know ghetto. I grew up in Pine Hills, and it wasn't as ghetto as it is now but still pretty bad

I was there at DTD on Saturday and I was trying to leave the parking lot. With the way Disney had traffic backed up I could not get out without one of Disney's security guards telling me to make an illegal right turn out of parking area 3. (I guess I wasn't the one they were lokking for). I had no idea what was actually going on.

As to ghetto areas, head east on 192 and you will come to true ghetto areas.

If the gunman was staying at one of the monorail resorts, I can sort of understand where he was coming from. The bus service to DTD from that area is very slow.
