Horizons puzzle

I just won a still sealed and unwrapped in the box 1983 GE Horizons jigsaw puzzle off of Ebay! Talk about a rare, and definitely NOT cheap, find. The puzzle is of the big mural at the attraction's exit. Anyways, I don't know whether to leave it sealed in the tiny box, which does have a picture of the mural on it, or should I piece the puzzle together, which is bigger than the box, and frame it? Suggestions?

I'd open it, complete it and frame it, keeping the box near the displayed frame. If it was really expensive you might as well enjoy it. Besides, that mural was so beautiful and would make a great display piece. Besides, if you're not planning on re-selling it (which I assume you're not) then keeping it mint in the box seems fruitless.


However, that may just be me.

Frame the puzzle. I am so jealous of your find. I have a framed "Four Parks One World" puzzle in my room, but that's not nearly as cool as your Horizons puzzle. Bah.

Congrats on your find and win. I would frame the puzzle. I had recently won a EPCOT Center puzzle which shows an artists renditions of the park over-head and I am looking forward to framing.

Definately open it, enjoy putting it together and frame it! It will look great in any Disney lovers house!

Depends on what you want it for...
If you have thoughts that you may want to try to sell it for more in the future, leave it as it is. If you love the idea and want to fully enjoy it for what it is, then go ahead and frame away.

Yep, that's the one. I think I will definitely frame it now. Its killing me not to open it. Its just the idea of having something that rare still sealed is pretty cool. And no, its definitely not for sale! Thanks for the replies, I'll put up a picture of the completed work once I'm done.
