my thoughts exactly!Why has HoP just now become soooooo popular with the mainstream media? I dont recall all the hoopla with any of the prior presidents being inducted....
Tiki is always fail....:lol:Tiki FAIL:lol:
Nice piece overall, though.

Are you sure? There have only been 2 additions to HOP in the past 16 years prior to Obama. I'm not sure an article in an orlando publication and a snippet on CNN really count as a hoopla.
...just like when the American Advenuture was updated recently. American Adventure means more than it did before Sept. 11, 2001.
Happy Fourth everyone.
Happy Fourth!
On the recent update to AA, I thought that the major changes were the artifacts (or replicas of artifacts) on display and cosmetic changes to the theater (like curtains, etc.). Was there any changes to the actual show? I thought that it remained the same (or nearly the same).
I don't think so...:shrug: Just the video.Happy Fourth!

American Adventure added a little bit at the end of the movie. A sort of new "tag" that updates the attraction to after Sept. 11, 2001. Very poinant, very moving. New orchestral score, or an update if you will. Images of the twin towers in ruins. An update of "recent American history."
Thank you, I didn't realize that. I don't recall seeing that. Although the last time I saw it was 2005. When was this tag added? Or do I just not remember correctly.
June of 2007.
OK, thanks - that's why. I missed AA the last time. My family went ahead of me, because there was a show about to start. I was, like, less than a minute behind them, and when I got there the CM wouldn't let me in, even though I told her my family had just gone ahead. No criticism for the CM - she was just doing her job. Just bad luck for me. They must have closed the doors right behind them. DW called me on my cell, so they weren't worried. So I waited outside and drank a beer:lol: and met up with them in the CS restaurant later.
Awww! Missing AA is unthinkable for me.:lol:
At least there was beer.:shrug::lookaroun
