Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the "Hooray For Hollywood" recording that played at the end of the Great Movie Ride, when people were getting off the tram? I'm looking for a clean version, and all I've been able to find are versions from people's videos with background noise. Thanks for any help.

That was the piece used at the start of the ride.

The walkout was a different style and so far has not circulated.
Admittedly, I do not get that intense about things, but, other then the fact that it didn't have the introduction in the end, wasn't the song the same. I don't seem to remember much different about it. Was the wording different? Different verse? To me it just seemed like the same song that just bookended the show. Didn't we enter the unload zone at the same time that the tram was leaving in front of us? Not arguing, just asking... I just don't remember it being different, but, it could be, I wasn't really listening that closely at the end. If it wasn't significantly different, why is it important to have it published again when it is the same song? (minus the intro dialog)

We did. However, this piece played as guests were disembarking and exiting the building (and those loading were being told where to sit)

It was a different rendition at different tempo played with different instruments. It played from speakers above the unload dock and in the ceiling of the exit hall.

Hopefully you can hear the difference in this, which is the best I managed to piece together:

Ok, I understand now it is the instrumental only one that is missing. I was thinking the sung Hooray, for Hollywood. I couldn't figure out how it could be different from the departing tram, but, this part was after we stopped and were unloading into when others were loading before the beginning. I know that You Tube has many versions of the song, it might be one of them, but, there are to many to go through at this point and perhaps the OP has already done that.

It does. Sadly none are this one.
I think I can understand why, that versions is very low key. Sort of the easy listening version of the high energy song used in the beginning and end and no where near the energy that even you used at the end of your video. Not really something that would be in high demand. Mostly background white noise mood music to ease the exit and seating. Not meant to have a high impact, but, just have you leave humming the tune. Probably the reason why I didn't remember it at all until your video when it opened a long close file in the brain. I do think it was a good choice for the entry/exit background though.

I agree it was a good choice.

But I also have bathroom BGM loops in my collection (of the music type). I go for high and low impact scores.

While not on my personal list of Holy Grail audio, now that I know it hasn't been released I think this particular piece of audio will rank high on the 'Wanted' list. :) I miss TGMR now...

Thank you for your comment. The instrumental version of "Hooray For Hollywood" at the end when people are leaving the building is a more relaxed version than the other versions during the ride.

Aye. Killing the GMR for a Mickey ride was a huge mistake. They should have updated it and changed the movies. Could have called it "Great Movie Ride - Act II".

Maybe finally get Animatronics of Marlon Brando and Yul Brynner in there.

They should have killed Launch Bay; would have been much more fitting to put a new Mickey ride in the old ANIMATION building.
The entrance was practically already built.

Seriously who at TDO is making these decisions?
