Hi everyone... for our next trip, we've entertained the idea of doing the Hoop Dee Doo Musical review. I know it's kind of pricey, which is why I'm wondering if you think it's worth it or not.

Thanks!

It's great fun! The food is good, the entertainment corny in a Disney way, and just a great night out. You might want to check about a AAA discount on tickets too.

It is definately worth going to at least once, my kids had a blast! Even though it hasn't changed much in the past 20 years, I found this show and the food to be much better than the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

Food is great (Chicken, Ribs and sides). Dessert is great (Stawberry Short Cake). Everything is all you can eat. They bring it in a bucket.

The Show is fun.

The best part is the all you can drink beer and/or sangria.

Do it!

100% worth it!!!!

The food isn't fantastic but it isn't bad and there is no shortage of it.

IMO you don't need to bother with the Cat1 seats - I've been there and it was nice but you get just as invovled with the show in Cat2 (this is the option I would go for) or most of Cat3.

Just a note, if your taking kids don't go to the late showing. Last time I did that the place was full of sleeping kids.

It is definitely worth it. It's not Disney's longest running dinner show for nothing. My DW took me for my b-day a few years ago. We sat in the front row in the center of the stage. The character interaction is great.

Totally worth it! Especially fun if anyone in your party gets picked on:sohappy: (assuming they like that kind of thing anyway!) I am normally pretty shy but I got pulled up on stage as a can-can girl and have a blast! They also had my husband and I dance along with a few other couples because we were on our honeymoon.

I'm so glad to hear this. My kids have saved change since Sept. This is what they picked to spend it on. They have enough to pay for all of us. They are super excited about it. We can't wait till Oct!

I love everything about it!!! I've been there with family members of every age ranging from 12 months old to 80 years old and everyone loved it!! The babies, the teenagers, and the old folks all had a blast!

When we went in 2005 they had some kids come up and ring the dinner bell (actually it may have been a triangle!) before letting everyone in. If you get over there early maybe you can put in a good word for your kids so they get picked!
