Thanks! :)

I´m so bored now.... so here comes one more...
This is also downtown, just next to the church I just posted. It´s a little park devoted to the Motherhood, see the statue in the middle? It´s of a mother with her son.

On the other side of the street from the same church, there is another park, this one is called Park Hidalgo. It´s only one block from the Cathedral and the main square.
The building in the back is an old hotel.

Walking back from the Cathedral on 60th street, the park I just posted is where the trees are on the right, and then the theater and then the University would be on the left corner, but I don´t think it´s seen on this pic. 60th st. goes around the whole city from south to north and then becomes the "freeway" to the beach.

Sorry... just doing my little part on touristic promotion here! :animwink:

inside of it. It´s right in front of the university building. I need to tell you that after the hurricane, there wwere some damages in there, so they were doing some repairements and I couldn´t go inside. It´s kinda obvious even if you see the curtains. Some water got in there it seemed.

Last one for now... sorry if I took over this thread! ;)

This is the same 60th street, but seen from north (the theater) to south (the Cathedral).

some small stuff about Sue.

The bones are all removeable from the frame! So scientists can examine any piece they want at any time.

The head on the body is a fake one. The real one weighs a whole lot more and would collapse the structure if it place on the skeleton.
The real one is located upstairs in a glass case (right under the painting)

:D

Here is a picture of an old "hacienda" (our version of plantation houses) where the patron lived and their workers -mainly natives- lived around the main house working for the owners. I´m not sure when this house was built, but some of them are more than 400 years old.
Here is a view of the house from the garden where my brother´s wedding party will take place.
