So, I was not having a pleasant day today at all...late to work, stuck at Ariel's for THREE hours, then Carrousel & we all know how I feel about that thing. THEN, I get sent to Peter Pan Fastpass return (AKA...the mob scene). Sure enough, people mad because they have to wait till their FastPass time, people wanting to sneak by with FastPasses for Splash Mountain, people mistaking me for Michael Eisner so they can complain about how unfair FastPass is, etc.

So, on a break from these people, I went to assist a wheelchair party through the accesible entrance when my manager comes running up & screams, "HOLD 'EM BACK! HIGH PROFILE GUEST COMING THROUGH!!!!" Ummmm....ok. I'm thinking, woohoo Eisner or someone, ya know? I turn to tell the newly gathered FastPass mob to hold off a second & they start screaming & rushing at me. I yell back "Look, I don't know what's up here folks, but I cannot have this! Back off & form a line, please". I turn to see what is up & I'm face to face with Michael Jackson! So, what do I do? Even with all of my previous celeb encounters, I react by saying "Ohmigosh! It's Michael Jackson!" LMAO He had his two sons there in Spider Man suits as well. SOOOOO cute!

So, they took 2 trips through Peter Pan & when they were exiting, he came back by where I was with my FastPass crowd. He was great about stopping for pics & autographs...really sociable & sweet guy. The wheelchair party that I had originally been with had spent a lot of time waiting there with me & they were so sweet. The little girl with them got his autograph in her autograph book & then asked if he would do another one for me, which she tore out of her book & gave to me. ISN'T THAT THE SWEETEST THING YOU'VE EVER HEARD??????? He was really cool, thanked us for doing a great job, etc. Wow! I haven't even been a big fan of his in quite a few years, but that was still an awesome experience to have. VERY VERY COOL! And wouldn't ya know it, today was the first day I didn't have a camera in my pocket!! A co-worker who adores MJ was in seventh heaven all night long after that. He finally got to meet his "idol", so he was ecstatic all night. Turns out, MJ visits frequently...esp. Fantasyland! WOW!

OK...I'm done now. That was just a VERY cool experience & I am still SOOOOOO impressed with that incredibly sweet little girl. What a doll!!!!!!!!!! LOL Guests creating magical moments for CMs, now, eh???

That's an awesome story! From what I've heard, MJ is pretty cool when it comes to the fans!

YOU STOLE MY LINE!!! :animwink:
I heard that most of the time he's dressed as an muslum woman while touring. BTW, I wonder how the manager thought about a celebrety touring the park with his kids dressed in the competators cloths?

I know...it would have been much more appropriate to have the kids in Mickey suits. Someone said he does that to keep them "disguised". Hmmmm...

Honestly, he looked totally normal. No face masks or anything odd. His nose also didn't appear to be peeling off & I was definitely close enough to him to critique it! LMAO

I'm not a huge MJ fan anymore, but I was in the 80s, and he is still one of those elusive kind of people that you think you'll never really meet...like the President or someone. I especially never thought I'd be 1.5 feet away from him, unobstructed like that! Although people were freaking out, they were surprisingly well behaved. VERY VERY cool

Ok...a few questions... Spider-man...do you have something to tell us??? (I know you like to keep your identity a secret...but come on  )

Another question...I'm sure that MJ had a FastPass and didn't CUT everyone that was waiting patiently (JUST BECAUSE HE'S MICHAEL JACKSON RIGHT???). I mean...he's so for the children and peace and everything...but think about the less fortunate children (and I must add...any child is MORE fortunate to NOT have him as a parent) who have to wait in line.

One last question...Did Michael Jackson ride Peter Pan's Flight 2 times because he was with 2 children...and did he dangle each kid out of the ship on each ride?

Um... Spider-man, MJ... creepy... anyway.

I can't help it my costume is an ultra hot seller. What MJ does with his money is his business. Heck, he built Neverland in his backyard, I don't see you giving Tinkerbell or Peter Pan a hard time. Extremly odd that he was out there fully visable, he must not be nearly as popular now a days. Very neat story. I am surprised he not only got to skip line, but also ride twice. Maybe he has special Front of the Line passes since he frequents their parks so often. :)

Well, I knew he loves WDW, but I figured that when he wanted to come, he bought the park for a day or something. I had no idea he'd just walk right through it in the middle of the day like that. He didn't even have an army of staffers or entorage or anything like that. I was shocked that he was so accessible! I'm still kinda pinching myself. You just never expect to be standing next to MJ in the middle of the work day. LOL

No dangling children, no waiting in the lines...extremely gracious, courteous & decent guy, unlike what some people have said or may think. I was deeply impressed with him.

Cool! So the kids were wearing the spiderman costume with the mask and everything? I feel sorry for them... :( "Dad...it´s too hot in here" " I can´t see anything" "oops, the mask was backwards!"

On a somewhat related topic, has anyone heard Jerry Seinfeld´s cd when he speaks about Halloween? :animwink:
