I heard there was a new float in the parade but not sure how true it is.
They were testing the castle lights very early (like 6:30 am) on Wednesday morning. Seemed SO out of place in mid-October.[/QUOTE
But it's soooo pretty. I would have loved to see it anyway.
Did you have a MK view room or were you just in line very early.
From everything I have been told there was going to be a new float or two this year but those plans have been scrapped (kind of like the scrapped parade plans on the 40th).

Before long, they will just leave Christmas stuff out year round.
No word on WOL at Epcot huh? I doubt it....
Disney is very happy showing the same product year in and year out (yes, the MK's Halloween decor is nice ... but when did they install it 2004? 2005? ... and they haven't added/plussed/changed a thing since).
I see (and have heard) nothing to indicate there will be any changes to WDW's holiday lineup this winter.
Same old, same old.
Year in, year out.

There were actually changes to the standard Magic Kingdom Halloween decorations this year that I would consider to be a fair improvement.
Also some fairly significant changes at MNSSHP due to the closure of Toontown. Overall, I'd consider the changes a net-gain.
This would be GREAT news! We spend one full day in the MK, and that night we will do the Christmas Parade along with the desert party..my wife and I have done the parade, but mom-in-law and daughter have not, so it will be a treat for all!
