For those of you who are calling this "good news," you're mistaken (or mislead). This is, in no way, news. The idea that Harry Potter might go into Fantasyland is more of a fantasy the Harry Potter franchise and Fantasyland put together.

Sorry to break it to all of the Harry Potter fans. You'll have to get your fix elsewhere.

In my opinion...Harry Potter has no place in Disney. It certainly has no place in MK. Harry Potter movies are owned by WB...if it is going to be in any of the parks the only place for it s MGM. It just doesn't fit in with the MK...everything in MK is Disney...why would they ruin it?! (Dumb question probably...lol)

I really doubt Disney would just put up one building for HP. They would have to build an entire new "land" just to fit everything in from the grounds of Hogwarts to that street the students buy all their magic.

First I would like to say that I didn't read every post (I skipped from page 3 to 12) so what I write may or may not have been discussed before.

I think a Harry Potter attraction would be great...just not in MK...or MGM. I think a HP attraction would be a great start for Animal Kingdom's fabled Beasty Kingdom. They could somehow move Conservation Station to Camp MM, and have the old CS as Hogwarts. The train can be rethemed to the HP train, and well I think you see where I'm going with this.

As for HP's popularity, sure the most recent movie didn't make as much $$ as the first 2, but the popularity of the series cannot be based on the movies. When the most recent book came out (960+pages), it set many records including most-selling-book-of-all-time-ever. Fans gathered throughout the world in bookstores at midnight to buy this and most finished it before midnight of the next day. So don't underrate the popularity of HP.

Once again, I'm sorry if all this has been said before, but it's late, I have homework and I don't have time to read through 12 pages of posts.
