I check out their sales every week and try to pick up something every other week or so. They often have 50% off paper and ribbon. I think this week they have 50% off adhesives.

A month or so ago (when we bought my Cricut) they even had 10% off Cricut machines and cartridges!

I think Hobby Lobby can be rather pricy usually, but they do have great sales!

Hobby Lobby is the only craft store close to me. There's a Michaels and Joann's about a half hour away, but I just don't usually make the drive.

I was in Target yesterday, and they had a lot of scrapbooking items on clearance. I got a package with six Disney 12" x12" pages, two sets of embellishment stickers & a set of mat frames. It was $4.88 which is probably a little less than what I would have paid for the stickers alone.

Yea, target must be getting rid of their scrapbook stuff because everything was on clearance.

I was looking for brads and brackets for the challenge. :lookaroun

Where I live now there are Hobby Lobby's, but I haven't made it inside yet. Thanks for the feedback guys. I must check it out. In Miami, there was a huge privately owned scrapbook store I would purchase my materials from. I sort of miss it, because these stores usually carry unique collections you can't usually find like at Target or Michael's. But I will make out to Hobby Lobby, soon.....as soon as I get my "scrapbook corner" organized, my project will be "My Disney Engagement" Scrapbook!

Local scrapbook stores are the best. They can't be beat and the more of them the better!!!

But the big craft store chains (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnns) are great sometimes too. A 40% off coupon for Michaels is the way to go for a lot of things - like tools.

I live near the Enchanted Cottage in NC, and it's awesome! They have the largest selection of rubber stamps in the state. It's in an old roller mill, and it just goes on and on, and every nook and corner is crammed with stuff. I love going in there! Sadly, most of the scrapbooking stores in the area have closed b/c they just can't compete with the prices at the chains. I do have to restrain myself in a scrapbooking store, especially b/c the last time, I ended up buying lots of paper at $1 a page.

But I'm like you - when it comes to something big, I head to the chains. It's hard to beat those coupons! I actually get the AC Moore and Hobby Lobby coupons via email each week. I like AC Moore better than Hobby Lobby, at least based on our local stores. Hobby Lobby has more interesting stuff (like mirrors, decorative stuff), but it just always feels a bit piecemeal in there. But when I go to AC Moore, I know I'll be at the checkout forever b/c they are always understaffed.
