From the perspective of the average unsuspecting guest, sure, that kiddie coaster is comically short. But looking at it from an imagineering perspective as fans of theme parks, that coaster replaced a generic flat ride, which was what was originally announced by Chepak. That coaster allowed a simple character meet and greet to grow into an interactive show, hiding the show building. That coaster gives great kinetic energy and depth to the land as it’s a small mountain with a waterfall. The original Chepak concept showed that area being a just a forest of trees hiding the dancing sleighs flat ride. The coaster, while not being great, serves it’s purpose well and is more of an upgrade to the original plan.
