Hit by an Owl

A few years back, we had just got ice cream from the corner of Main Street (Carnation) and as we walked by the pop-corn stand on the way to Tomorrowland - all the sudden I hear this...

wooosh - wooosh - wooosh - wooosh

above my head...

Next thing i know, there's this big beak in my ice cream and a dang seagull flies off with the top scoop of my two scoop cone! I didn't know whether to be freaked out or laugh about it.

Of course after the initial shock of it died down, my friend was rolling on the ground laughing as he said it all kinda happened in slow motion.

Go figure!

Did you eat the rest?:lookaroun

Last night one of my dogs ate a dragon fly, I tried to get it out of his mouth, he doesn't understand the command "drop it!" yet. He had his jaw clenched and I was trying to pry it open, I could hear the fly buzzing in his mouth. I was grossed out. He literally choked it down then came in and drank some water. I wasn't looking for any puppy kisses this morning. :hurl:

Back during spring break this year I was walking along the pathway by the Crystal Palace and a duck flew from behind me and brushed me as it went by. Never seen it. I had to "duck" earlier walking through there. I guess the second time it got me. I also got the bird ________ in AKL, but it was on my pack which wound up on me somehow.

last year close to the first aid station at MK I almost got hit in the side of the head by a duck the funny thing about it was that my wife said duck and I did but she was pointing at the duck the duck was flying pretty fast so I imagine that it would have hurt.
so note to all pay attention to the birds:hammer:

Years ago, while on vacation with my parents, a goose bit my mom on her .:ROFLOL: It was so funny because we saw it chasing her but we were laughing to hard to warn her about it. It still cracks me up till this day!

It is a funny visual, I hope your Mom was okay, those bites can hurt for awhile!

I am always afraid while I'm eating around, say World Showcase lagoon, that one of the seagulls will come and attack me. Especially if the family at the table next to us keeps feeding them....like what almost happened on our last trip...

Those birds are way too comfortable around people

Source? Pics?

It's very unlikely to have pics of something like this. Granted the odds of someone else getting a shot is higher than YOU actually getting a picture of an owl/bird headed your way. I'm just say'n, is all...

And what are you searching for in asking for a source? I don't get it?
