Hip or , I'm packing...

I was thinking about possibly getting a hip pack or something to carry cameras, handwipe, kleenex, etc...you know stuff...around the Parks. I thought of making the 10 year old our personal packmule...but she seems to not be too keen on the idea.

1. Are they too cumbersome for rides?

And...

2. Can anyone suggest a good product?

i sometimes bring a pack in. It's pretty bid but stays on me during rollercosters and does not really bother me anywhere. I would suggest putting in camera(s), tissues, tickets, etc. They store nicely and stay dry on Kali in the center consel.

It shouldn't be a problem, they're not big and fine for the rides. I'm the packmule for my family  And I carry a small backpack all day (full of cameras, ponchos, drinks, maps etc), doesn't get in my way on most rides, but since it's larger I usually pass it off to my mom since she doesn't enjoy the rides where it may be a hassle to carry (Space Mountain etc). But I can wear a pack on Space mountain no problem.

The pack is a definate for me. I put my camera, tissues, ID, checkbook, comb and a poncho just in case of rain. It works like a charm on rides and you don't have to worry about loosing anything. If you are concerned about the size of the pack on a ride push the pack to your side and the bar will not get in the way.

Good luck and have a magical time!

Man, the title of this thread is open for so much debauchery, but I'll digress. . .

We will be using a hip pack (i can't say without thinking of my butt which is no longer considered a , but more of a weapon) and possibly a backpack. We used a backpack at the Ohio State Fair last year and that worked out great. I suppose if you have a stroller, you could pack some stuff in it.

Same here except it's a diaperbag/backpack. I seem to lug around everything in it for our visits.

I found tha cargo pants and cargo shorts (the pants or shorts with LOTS of pockets) are great at WDW. Water or drink bottles in one of the leg pockets, souvenier t-shirt or other non-breakable goody in the other leg pocket, and a bellybag for wallet, sugar-free candies, cigarettes, etc. Had no problems on any rides.

I dread to think!!!

Against all fashion sensibilities I wear a bumbag to the parks. It is just too useful. Map Storage. Sunglasses Protection. Keeps your wallet away from pick-pocketers. Attach a camera or hat to the strap. Also hides well under a T-Shirt.

I put my sunglasses in a pocket on my shorts before I went on Kraken. After I came off they were in at least 5 pieces

see...supplies are divided among 4...I'll be the one packing...

you know...if you stay at a resort...you can send purchases to your room...thus allowing more storage in your trunks....
