If you do get a pack, I would suggest that you get one with a wire going through the waist strap so if someone cuts it then it will still stay on.

Well...I DO have cargo shorts and they have enough pockets in them....
style is such a burden...

I totally agree, Phyldude! I only wear hats when camping and in Disney. But a fannypack, I'm not sure if I could do that. . . I use a pullstring back pack. So easy and stylish!
I learned my lesson with the straw hats, they tend to shrink in intesne FL heat. I have switched over to a fabric full brimmed jungle (not safari) hat with a chin-strap!
Nothing better than looking like I am a dork that came from the jungle with a hip-pack!

When you're follicle-ly challenged like I, those jungle safari hats are a God-send! The nice thing too is that you can get that thing, soak it in water and stay cool until it dries out (about 20 minutes!):king:

.... by the way i have a question.... when you guys go to disney do u wear something disneyish like a disney t-shirt or do u guys where minnie ears (I DO) or goof face hat (my cousin does) or anything else.... i went to disney one year and bought micket ears that would LIGHT UP!! Do you guys wear your disney hats to disney??? MY little baby cousins wear their princess outfits too.. anyone wear anything really unique?

We have always carried a hip/ packs for ourselves and kids to hold thier snacks between meals. I love the cargo shorts now but, still use the pack for money and such and the most important item. Motorola 2 way radios.(family band walkie talkies)... you are never lost, seperated or where you can't find your party if you split up. Plus, this way if some one is riding and your running late to reservations to eat and such some one can go ahead while others are riding dumbo or whatever. I even ran into Orlando on Disney day one of our last trip when I bounced the camcorder just inside the gate and had to buy a new one. Then they continued on and I found them with in a few minutes of getting back to the park. Yes, an expensive day but it gave us a reason to upgrade and fix the old one and sell it when we got home. Our fun begins in Disney a week from today....:sohappy: :sohappy:
