I didn't like the songs compared to last time. They just weren't that catchy or memorable. Also the plot got boring towards the end and I lost interest.

I really liked "What time is it?" as well as Zac Efron's number and the baseball number "I don't dance." The latter had a very hip hop feel to it which is what I liked (same reason I love the Cheetah Girls music :lol: )

As far as the plot goes, I liked that it went a wee bit deeper this time, and even Ryan came into his own when he stopped being Sharpay's sidekick :lol: And I liked that Troy and Gabriella's relationship wasn't perfect.

I just really do not care for Gabriella. I can see why she hasn't gone beyond HSM like Zac Efron has :lookaroun

Did it remind anyone else of an episode of saved by the bell? I seem to remember an episode that was very similar. Oh and I think they did the same type of thing in 90210 as well. :lol: My wife and daughter liked it, I gave it a chance but Im still not a fan.

I liked it! My favorite songs were the first one, last one, and You Are the Music in Me.

I wish Troy and Gabriella stayed apart....he's too good for her...:lookaroun

My favorite part was when Troy and Chad walked into the kitchen talking in British voices. :lol: We went back and watched that part a few times, it was too funny!

Can't wait for the dance along and 3rd movie! :sohappy: :lookaroun

There were some good and fun songs. They really tried to make it a little different and not rehash the same show over again like they did with Grease II.
My only problem was "blonde". If she acted the way she did around me, I would need to knock her down a few pegs.

I saw it, and I didn't like it nearly as much as the first one (although, it did seem to do pretty well). My favorite song was I Don't Dance (thought it was pretty catchy).

One thing I forgot to add in my other post: I don't like the fact that they released it at the end of August. I go back to school in a week and hearing "School's Out!" doesn't help at all! They should have released it at the end of June/ begining of July.

edit: Did anyone else see Miley Cyrus at the end? How random was that?

I did see miley cyrus at first i was like was that her so i went back and it was definatly her with really dark hair. I was shocked too.

Edit: Not because I really care :lol: but you're basically stereotyping the people who see HSM. As far as I know, I don't act like an airhead. I like everything from classical to Disney Channel stuff. I am very diverse and open-minded with my choices, and even though my taste in HSM and the like is "weird," who cares? :lol:

Joanna, I cannot say right now which I like better, because I've seen the first one so many times, and the second one once. What I find better from the first one was the finale which had more to it and more theatrical. But I need to view the movie a few more times :lol:

Oh my gosh, I felt the same way!! Except, I would be Vanessa.

Zac is so yummy, especially when he's on the piano...:lookaroun
