Hello, i am new to wdwmagic.com forums. I got a good tip that i always do. I posted the exact same message on wdisneyw.com
Here it is:

When going down to WDW, i always take my ponchos, cause inevitably it will rain. On the back of my poncho i wrote "MONOMANBLUE" this way if anyone from the forums see's me, they can say "hi" This in my opinion is a great idea, sorta looks like a bright yellow football jersey. This is a great idea especially if you plan to meet someone or if it is raining then you can see if anyone else has one writtenon the back of theirs, also a good way to identify ponchos.

By the way, in case some are interested, especially those with monorails. My signature is what is said on the monorail. I speak spanish very well.

I see I have competition there.... :lookaroun :animwink:

Welcome to WDWmagic.... the first round is on the "newbie" (you). hehe :animwink:

We have tried to make this "encounters" before, and when a certain member posted his face in his avatar in various WDW locations, another member couldn´t recognize him even sitting next to him by coincidence in a show! :animwink:
The next idea we got in another thread, was to bring a deck of "smiley cards" along with us for when we meet.... that way we will really recognize who we are!

Have fun in here!

Welcome to the boards!

However, I think you have an error in your monorail spanish phrase. The word "alejado" had one "L" not two.

The poncho idea isn't bad, but it's still the old needle in a haystack theory. Again, welcome aboard.:)

edit: That is very true Maria, garyt977 had a 10 minute converstion with me at The Comedy Warehouse and had no idea I was from wdwmagic, even though my face is on here nearly 24/7!

you are right i mis-spelled

It technically can be used to ways

Alejado or Alejada

But since one is Feminine(a) and one is masculine (o)

The "o" form is used.

the masucline form is used when talking to more than one gender.

So on the monorail it is pronounced "alejado"

I liked the poncho idea, but the hood deal hangs in front of it.

Not to mention the 10,000 + people wearing a bright yellowed one

Good job! I see you figured how to get the accent right! :)

However, the original phrase is wrong as it is said in the monorail... we have talked about this before... the person and the form of the verb don´t match. :animwink: But it´s one of those "Disney touches".... hehe
