I know this might not be ideal for her BUT I'm currently battling depression and today I am just overcome with sadness and some nothing makes me happier that Disney I thought of you guys. So please share with me your happiest Disney moment
Mine was our first trip to WDW in 2008. I had last been to Disneyland in 1992 so this was a return to the Disney brand for me and doing it with my wife and kids was super special to me.
The trip was perfect, minus the September heat. We were such noobs about a lot of things but we had such a good time.

I hope you feel better here are some of my favorite Disney memories;
Our little Disney Souvenir AKA our son.
Walking up main Street USA with my then five years DS on his first visit and watching his face as we got closer and closer to the castle.
Fast forward a few years to celebrating his eighth birthday at WDW with a visit to Cirque du Soleil and dinner at the California grill. Then standing on the observation deck and watching wishes. Later he told me that the day was perfect.
Having breakfast at Whispering Canyon Café on my DW’s birthday and having the cast member embarrass the daylights out of her. They made her stand up and take a bow then asked “How old are you?” When she didn’t answer they kept saying “What was that, a little louder.”
Speaking of embarrassed; watching my DS walk into “My Disney Girl’s Perfect princess teas” was right up there.

My happiest moment was actually 2012, standing at the bus stop waiting to go back to Coronado after a long night at MK. My fiance turned to me and said, "I like it here, I think we should come back." So I was thrilled that even the self proclaimed "tough guy" could be overcome with Disney magic!I know this might not be ideal for her BUT I'm currently battling depression and today I am just overcome with sadness and some nothing makes me happier that Disney I thought of you guys. (He had never been to Disney and wasn't even really excited to go. He was going just to make me happy but he loved it and we are heading back in May!)

Taking my son there in the Summer of 2012...riding Primeval Whirl and seeing him laugh and realizing I was laughing and for those few days, all the stress in the world was gone.
I felt blessed to be able to provide to my son that opportunity.

In the early 80's, our family was chosen (twice during a single trip) to ride in the very front of the monorail. My sister and I were about 6 and 8 at the time and it made us feel hugely special. The 270-degree view out of the front window was spectacular. Although we were chosen at "random," the operators were male and I had a stunningly beautiful mother with an unbelievable pair of legs and a penchant for the short shorts that were fashionable at the time, so it wasn't hard to figure out why they kept picking us! Dad just shrugged, laughed and went along for the ride. As he used so sigh, with a smile, "when you're in love with a beautiful woman, you go it alone."

Taking my 5yr. Old on btmm for the first and 50th time,I have to hold on to her for dear life because she doesnt and thinks that shes big enough my herself! Also we have a date night once a month, starts with dinner only at contempo cafe,so she watch the monorails,then walk over to mk, go on a few rides.On the way out,we must stop at the candy shop and pick up a treat for the way home, priceless.Memories like these are the reason all of us on here spend a fortune here every year.Hope you feel better,and oh btw its 58 degrees right now,damn its cold,lol.

Thank you so much Jim. It's just so much sometimes, it's overwhelming. I'm looking forward to Disney next summer more than any of the upcoming holidays. It's this wonderful little world that you step into and momentarily forget all of life's worries

I could never choose just one moment or one trip. Disney is a lifetime of memories, all good in their own way, and all bring reflections of joy.
I can remember my entire family being together in MK - taking a photo on the old entranceway bench/planter where the second bridge to bypass the hub is. It was to be the last time the family was together....
I can remember sharing my love of Disney with good friends and we toasted the beginning of our adventure with Kier Royales in France on our first visit to Epcot....
I can remember taking my neighbor's two sons on a Disney excursion the year after their parents divorced and their house burned and having a great time every single day....
I can remember for the first time going with someone I wanted to be 'the one' and having a fantastic dinner at Citricos - after getting soaked in a Florida thunderstorm....
I can remember my first visit to MK with my Great-Grandmother (when we had to buy ticket books!) and when I went years later with her one more time. Her favorite attraction was the Hall of Presidents because she could catch a quick nap and recharge her batteries....
I can remember going with a group of friends and we arrived late at night and we woke up and we were in Disney and the world was a great place for just a little while....
I know your feeling of sadness - but remember the good times and reach out to good friends (and those of us here on WDWMagic) if you ever feel despondent. This too shall pass, and like the PSA says, it will get better.

I hear ya. Life has been kinda up in the air for me/us of late which always affects me. Its nothing new. But, you know, I've been wishing the holidays would go away because I felt like "ain't nobody got time for that". Ugh! I've got (older) kids and family requirements, tho. Imagine Santa dragging me by my foot doing his jolly "HoHoHo" all the way. LOL! Soooooo, on Wednesday this week I had to take a little mini-road-trip to take care of some errands and found myself listening to a Christmas playlist in my car. No clue why this year's Mrs. Grinch felt the need to do that but there I was. And singing along! As I was singing one of my favorite Christmas hymns I started thinking about what I was singing. All the annoyances with the holidays, the uncertainty of life, every single thing that had been weighing on me of late melted away. I felt so uplifted and completely happy. I'm not an overly religious girl, I'd say more spiritual on a personal level, so I'm not trying to get all churchy on ya. But there I was so overcome with relief and happiness that I was fighting tears. I'm so glad I found my happy. Last night we put up our tree. Today I find myself even excited about hosting the hubby's family for their Christmas gathering this year. ((Trust me, for an awkward girl like me, hosting anyone is a huge stressor!)) Like you, I have a Disney(land) trip next year I'm excited about but if something comes up that prevents us from going, it's okay. I have everything I need right here. The happy is in me. I just gotta remember how to keep in touch with it. Find your happy in you. Its all right there waiting. ((I suggest driving around singing. Worked for me!))Thank you so much Jim. I hear you. It's winter here, and gray, and I've been called into work today 
, and I wish I were in Florida right now. But take the advice some here on this forum have offered in the past: Start planning your next Disney trip. Start doing research, figure out the costs, and start saving if you need to. You know what I do? I've got a big ceramic Mickey Mouse cookie jar. I put all of my loose change in it. And every cent will go for my next trip (even though I plan to stay in Universal next year, I'll be taking a side trip to WDW). That helps me get through the gray days.

1977 my first visit. I was 5 years old. It was one of very few bright spots in a bad childhood. When I returned with my children for their first time in 2005, it brought tears to my eyes when we walked through MK. Disney will always be my happy place!
