Help, the x-mas parade did not tape

I am hoping someone can help us. We tape the parade each year but this year (either user error or Direct) the parade did not tape. We are on the East Coast and have Direct TV.

Does anyone know if they will reshow it, purhapse a different channel, or if it can be downloaded (such as Hulu)?

This might just something strange going on up in my head, but I thought that they re-run it sometime before Jan. 1st. How about you search thru the search engine on DirecTV, then if it pops up--awesome!! Get back to me if it re-runs :).

Coincidentally, same thing happened to me. I use a Comcast DVR. I have the funny feeling that maybe they changed the official title a few days ago, so your DVR was looking for a show that no longer existed. Maybe some other cable companies' DVRs automatically switched the recording to the right title. Had we specifically programmed our DVRs to record ABC at the hours the parade was on, we'd have it.
