Help picking a value resort

I will be in the World for a quick whirlwind tour the weekend of the Princess half marathon. Feb 22-24. I will be going solo(this is a first). Which value should I stay at? I have stayed at music and movies many times before.

AoA if there are any discounts, Pop if AoA has no discounts. Marathon weekends tend to get pretty busy with people thinking just as you are so I wouldn't wait much longer to book.

POP has become a favorite of the family from a value resort perspective. Good all around.

We stayed at pop a cuple times and enjoyed it. The theming is much nicer then the others unless you get into the AofA which is mostly family suits, except the little mermaid section.

Will you be using Disney transportation? Since AoA standard rooms seem a bit of a jog from the main building, Pop sounds better, unless it's not a big deal for you.

Have stayed at at all the values and would choose Pop or AofA.

I have not been to AOA as of yet but I do not think you can go wrong with any of the Values. I have stayed at all All Stars and POP. I recently stayed at POP in October for the first time in about 5 years. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as well.

Are you planning on using Disney transportation to the race? If so you need to stay in one of the resorts that will have transportation to and from the half. There should be a list on the ESPN race site.

POP transportation is a good bet - buses are not shared between resorts (like All Star Resorts or CBR), so the waiting isn't terrible. I checked prices this week and the price difference isn't much.

I am doing the Princess Half, too! I would recommend Pop for value and convenience. Also, you may want to look at some of the travel websites like expedia. I found a much better deal there than through either RunDisney or with Disney with the current room discount.

All of the values are host resorts. I was just looking for everyone's opinion. It looks like Pop is a favorite of many. I have been wanting to stay there, so that may win out!

I am staying at POR in a princess room...lol! It seemed fitting. I am sharing with two friends so we wanted queen beds.

I agree...they are the most centrally located and are much better than the All-Stars.
