Help picking a value resort

I will be in the World for a quick whirlwind tour the weekend of the Princess half marathon. Feb 22-24. I will be going solo(this is a first). Which value should I stay at? I have stayed at music and movies many times before.

Google search says preferred rooms are only available in 50s, 60s and 70s and are closest to main building.

I was in 50s pool side in late October, and would advise a room away from pool if you want some quiet during daytime. They play tunes all day and into the evening which can be heard in the room.

A standard room was fine for me since I was on a solo trip. Was able to pay $85 at the time. Not sure what it is on a marathon weekend.

Thanks for the info. I would love to stay in the 80's or maybe the 60's, but I don't need a preferred room. With it just being me, I don't mind the walk to the room/busses/lobby. Is there anything special you did on your solo trip?
