Okay, I need help from someone who knows about computers. I am going to uninstall a game that I have on my computer, but when I uninstall it from the computer and it's gone, do I get all of the hard drive space that it took up back, or is it gone forever?

Not so stupid. If you were asking about a CD (CDR) the answer would have been different! Don't ever be afraid of asking a question. :D

Yep... you get back the file space... but not all of it... there will be some slight file slack space... not that big of a deal... but it would be best to defragment your C drive when you get a chance... to clean it up, get rid of the slack... and speed up your other programs on your hard drive. :)

You might also want to empty the recycle bin. Some uninstall programs seems to directly delete everything and some dump parts into the recycle bin.
