Hi There.
I have been lurking for about a week. A friend found this board about a year ago when she was planning her trip. We will be taking our first family trip to Disney this year 11/29-12/6. My 4 year old is super excited. My husband has been to WDW several times. My first time was in 2000 while on our honeymoon. I can't wait to experience it again with our son. It will be our first time staying on property. As a child, my husband's family had time shares and when we went together, we stayed at a nearby resort as well. Anyway, thanks for the info on this site!

I'm new here too! :) What a great time to go! We have had some of our best trips in early Dec. You can take advantage of all the holiday theming and events (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the BEST!) without the huge crowds. All of the resorts put up elaborate decorations, and also the shops along main street (notice the garlands are decorated with appropriate items: tiny ice-cream cones in the ice cream shop and little baseball items at Casey's Corner!). O.K., I'm a freak...but Christmas and Disney are my two favorite things in the world--together, they can't be beat!
