Trip Report HELLO DORIAN pluses by two more visits to the Coronado, we should have stock in United Airlines

This morning Tuesday #2

Breakfast at Cape May at Beach Club. Wonderful atmosphere, service and food. All piping hot or very cold depending what it was. Not all Buffets keep foods that fresh like Cape May

Happy to see some themed rugs returning. When whimsical and sound absorbing

And a bus to the MK and there by 10am but NOBODY else was.

We had 7 anytime passes and one later for Splash.

Space and People Mover twice

Tron makes progress by the day.

Buzz stopped and sides went up. Cleared the score back to 0. My DD had already hit Galactic Hero and had taken a photo. Me not so much.

Went back to BLT and lunch at Contemporary

This was my DD veggie flatbread pizza. It was disgusting. I tasted too. Neither of us could eat it

The massive Italian beef was very good. By no means Portillo’s but good and generous

This was my DD Whoopi’s Pie. Hot chocolate chip cookies with marshmallow buttercream. She said so much better than her pizza

On to pool time then the Studios for late afternoon and some of the evening. We had the most belligerent bus driver ever. Ever.

Tower time as a standby. Been years. Took 10 minutes

Slinky FP time. I just love this little coaster and theming

Onto Mania

I did not win. No surprises there

Into the muppet/finer art store. My son was purcoa painting of the Great Movie Ride. One of his favorite attractions

Me I love all the details in the store itself.

And I picked out a few pianoforte myself someday

We walked through the Falcon area at night. The logging is excellently done. I like it better at night

Onto dinner at the Commissary. We had the pot roast and it was very good. No knife needed.

We took the walkway to the Swan and over to Fantasia Gardens for a round of mini golf. It is a challenging long course

2 holes need some plumbing work and were partially submerged but fun was had

Bus was pulling into Swan for
MK as we arrived. We had cut through the Swan to reach the bus loop and passed the new Grab and Go @MinnieM123 It is nice and large. A great addition. The Java is currently closed for renovations or something else.

I am not a fan of the lack of any mirrors in the sink areas in WDW parks. One is usually stuck randomly elsewhere in the ladies restrooms

I rode Test Track this morning. Now at Resort I was my hands and find I am the twin sister of Albert Einstein with matching hairstyle

What is the $1 for?

The Disney food blog woman referred to a sandwich being as BIG AS A BARGE from Gaston’s.

That wasn’t detailed enough of a size for a few of our our members wanting to know the size of the Barge So my next trip to the MK I took a photo with the Gaston Sandwich with a dollar bill in front of said sandwich. A dollar bill is a unit of measurement most can relate to so now when I photograph tiny or ginormous food I take out a dollar bill for a visual. I aim am to please.

Today was and tomorrow are early rise days. We took it easier for the prior few days. It was very hot unlike the previous week. Light crowd levels allow for that.

A quick trip to the Studios to ride Mania for my DD 6 times in a row. 4 of which the CMs just let you go again. A pretzel

donut was had as a prebreakfast.

Returned to fetch Manchild

A quick bounty breakfast and off to Epcot

Epcot. Wednesday #2 Morning Early afternoon

I am happy we were at WDW for 2 weeks besides the obvious. The amount of walls up around Future World is Nasty at best. Ugly. Hard to navigate the entry areas and bypassing. I know it will all be for the better but the end of our trip will not be as nice in FW as the first half. I’m not sorry to see the half baked cheap fill in attractions go or empty buildings. It will be better. But for now a mess Oy Vai

The walls are up so unless you are in the monorail or on the bridge landing you are not seeing all the planters, fountains and nigh trees that were massacred.

Epcot was actually a good morning early afternoon. Can’t think of anything that didn’t go well or better.

Spaceship Earth as you never know when she will start her rehab. She had a nasty leak earlier this year and patched. So who knows.

A don’t miss for my family

Odd photos but I’ve been on Soarin a dozen times this trip. A family of 4 next to me with a 4 and 7 and all concerns for the younger of 2 kids. I explained the questions he was trying to nervously ask but ignored. He had a blast being My Kid for a few brief minutes. I enjoyed it too. A throw back in time for me walking my kids through new attractions. It’s been a couple decades playing Mom that way
I pointed out the hidden Mickey Balloon and the hidden Starfish along with the the obscure mine mine mine birds in the dessert.

Test Trackwas rough outside. Bright Sun and a windshield that hadn’t been washed since when? The glare of dirt only outside.

Figment is a must for my DD. We all have bonds with the 1.0. With Figgy but she was too you g. She only remembers the 3.0 version and yet is attached. So bless her young soul.

My kids are fortunate. They were able to experience the Upstairs of the Imagination Pavillon. Hours each trip with young children up there. Minus that entire floor the Pavillon lacks continuity’s of yesteryear

This reminded downstairs is ridiculous and sad to let happen. Pride Disney.

Lunch and a midday break

My wedge salad. Sometimes even on vacation your body screams healthy food please

Opted for the Poly’s version of pulled pork. Taste Tested. A great choice.

Followed by midday break Monorail to Contemporary BLT pool
