Trip Report HELLO DORIAN pluses by two more visits to the Coronado, we should have stock in United Airlines

We got surprised by a sprinkler while we were there too!! My wife went to go to the smoking section, and on came the Sprinklers. Totally was not expecting that.
Ive been here two weeks first time. What the heck. Maybe that is how target clean the lawn furniture and patio area? Why else aim at patios?
Luckily it it was still warm out.

The length of the trip got the best of me. Coming in late and just too sleepy, shower and fall asleep and do it again the next day.

Today the bus arrival time or lack of one was explained to me. Some boxes o. The screen actually have a line entered vs a
Projected time off arrival at bus stop. It will be the newly launched with characters or solid whited buses yet to have been wrapped. The buses do not have GPS fitted yet. So the line designation thatbthe bus won’t diss
We were off to AK I spent a chunk of my evening wandering and taking in the parks details. I love their signage and lights.

Pizzafarri has Great Wall murals so much details galore
Only rode 3 attractions. This evening Dinosaur, ‘Safari and Bugs
sent the family in their own to ride Everest and FoP

. I never try to do a LIVE but did my best for by day. By the end it was too much with two weeks. That is why I try and follow the @Tuvalu model. Lots during trip and follow up. Like her family mine is not overly into forums during a family vacation. We are more in the moment of vacation over social media during our days. I try for a balancing act as family trumps social media in our world. Just how we roll. Like Tuvalu I will try and fill in the banks post tripThanks for following
And that will hopefully be an appendix. Getting home safely with tornadoes at home was substantially more difficult than flying into the face of Dorian.

I used to live in hotels a lot traveling for the army. It sucks, but hopefully you can make the best of it and they finally did your apartment!!
Thursday #2 Checking out of BLT
Manchild only had a partial day had to be to work on Friday. We all checked our bags with bellhop. And off to the MK after breakfast at the Contempo.
We were armed with two FPs and 10 anytime passes and we were off down the hot path to the MK but better than a full monorail loop around to the MK. This is the second time we opted to tour the MK in one loop, starting in Tomorrowland and ending in Adventureland. It is now about 11am after bag check and and tap in.
First up is Peoplemover
Space then Buzz
and Peoplemover again....we are tired before we are even starting...
Off to the Dwarf's one of our FP's I was distracted by a backpack that I was following in the queue. I wanted it and was trying to see a manufacturers brand on it. It was too dang cute with the ears and bow on top.
Then across to Pooh
I love how you enter Pooh through a stack of books, nice touch.

Over to Storybook as my DD loves the scent of the Circus tent. First we stopped and listened to these guys. They were excellent
And into the Tent. This is actually my favorite merchandise venue in the MK. I avoid the Emporium

Then onto the Barnstormer but it wasn't so much to ride but a perfect perch to take some unobstructed photo's of Trons progress. This was the first time since we arrived that I saw a full crew working. There was only one crane up when we arrived and they seemed to be securing things for Dorian. Post Dorian it was really flooded and then a mud pit. We had some high temps earlier in the week and that dried things up.
It looks like the footing molds and pillars were being poured, a few pillars had some initial height.
Just noted I captured our specific hotel room in these photos. We had a good view
of Space and Tron and could see the upper portion of the castle. Watched the fireworks
from the balcony once. Fireworks were suspended all together for a few days because of Dorian in all 3 parks.
It looks like the footing molds and pillars were being poured, a few pillars had some initial height.

Under the Sea. I am a fan of this attraction. Well done.
Onto Small World. I've seen the rumors of adding some IPs. Wonder if it will happen.
There were very enthusiastic poster waving diners above us.
We broke for lunch at Harbor House. It was strangely very crowded. Everyone wanting some A/C. We all opted out of fries for green beans and swapped items.
Harbor House was one of the only places that did not offer lids and paper straws with fountain beverages. I could see them though....hidden and mounted behind the counter.
While we were eating my DD swapped our Splash FP for a Peter Pan. Can't use an anytime FP on Mine nor Peter Pan but can on Splash.
We bypassed Frontierland and went onto Jungle Cruise and Pirates. One of the worst skippers we have ever had. Nobody was laughing and we all just kinda stared in disbelief. He had a Don Rickles approach to stand up comedy. He was insulting people right and left, openly chastised parents of a small kid. Didn't appear they spoke English so were missing the remain seated. It was just awful.
Onto Pirates. I was waiting in the FP queue for my family to catch up avoiding the afternoon sun and it was cool in the open area.

And when I find who has the photos, we went onward back to Splash, Thunder and Haunted Mansion. They were stopping for Starbucks on the way out I plugged outward to try and reach Bay Lake as it was starting to drizzle and my carriage might turn into a pumpkin. I made it half was back to the Tower before I had to put up my umbrella.

Made it back to BLT and it stopped raining. 
Headed to the Contemporary via the Bridge. I really liked the Bridge as it has protection from the storms unlike many other resorts where you have to leave to get to food and the stores and I was tired and needed coffeMet up with my family there. We spent the rest of credits for snacks we had. The Contemporary has a very nice sweets counter in one of their stores. They also have a quality dessert case in the Contempo.

Said good byes to my son and we hung around. We added this day to the end and our stay at BLT which was our original booking long ago had come to an end. We were heading for one sleep at Pop and I was in no particular hurry to get there and we had privileges at BLT for the day. We started at the Coronado for 3 days before 11 days at BLT so Pop was anticlimactic however happily booked to have another day in WDW and in a park.
We arrive at Pop long after dark and my DD goes to check us in and I took the luggage, she sped ahead of me as a full Magical Express was arriving and the line to check in at Pop get long. I get a text from DD that says meet me out front. They are sending a Disney SUV to drive us over now to the Coronado. Huh. The woman was very sweet and now a Concierge at Pop. Previously a Dancer at The Lion King. She had the skills to be a good Concierge and I doubt she will be at Pop for long.
So now we are at check in at the Coronado.
Our CM assigns us to the very last build, the farthest back branch of the Rancho's. This resort is anything but near capacity. I no longer have my carriage and there was no freak'n way I was walking back there. I stayed there once. Not happening. She was snarky checking us in before this. My DD shows her where we had been at the beginning of our trip for 3 days. That was pushing my abilities then as I didn't have my carriage yet, not until BLT. She makes a phone call and it was quick and was told to put us in the closest building to the new tower. She wasn't happy and I don't get it. We were moved to this resort. The resort is far from capacity. Well whoever she talked to gave a nice room with a pool view only steps from the Tower. Went to our room and off to the Store and Grab and Go before it closed.
And oh my goodness, more Magic Bands. Riverside, Coronado, BLT and again Coronado 'cause they are were all different reservations. My DD is going to make a Christmas Wire Wreath with all we have collected. We all have many special MBs. These were lime green and baby pink. No idea which one belong to who.
Think I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
