Heigh-ho, heigh-ho it's off to Disney we go......

So to preface, this is absolutely my first pre-trip report. Hopefully, I won't ramble on too much and get boring. ;) I am so giddy from the excitement, or is it that big cup of coffee I had earlier--no, think it's the Disney giddiness!!

So our Disney trip is in less than 12 hours from this moment!! Our trip is April 17-April 23 with 6 day park hopper tickets staying at the Beach Club Villas for 3 adults.

My DH and I are driving down, which is about a 10 1/2 hr. drive with rest stops and quick meals. We will be getting up around 4 a.m. in order to leave about 5 a.m. Hoping for no construction along the way but I-95 usually has some. Our DD has to work the day so is taking a later flight down. She has to fly to DC for two-hour layover then fly to MCO. Her flight gets in after midnight. It is going to be a long night!! Will definitely need coffee Thursday morning--lots of it!!:D

We have plans for certain parks on certain days, but sometimes that just goes out the window. Some of the must do's this trip are:

We do want to see the Village People! Hey, we grew up with them!! LOL
Gotta have one of the magic cookie bars for @real mad hatter.
Outlet shopping one day, which I have never done for @figmentfan423.
Have some wonderful cocktails for @littleroo and the above friends!! and too many others on here to mention!! Honestly, it would take a page for them!! LOL
Enjoy the Flower and Garden show. I always like the butterfly house.
Relax, relax, and enjoy my family most of all!

Well, now if only my DH will get home from work, he can be excited with me!!
To all my Disney family on here, I will miss talking every day and will be thinking of you!!

Sounds like you had an interesting time, I am sorry to hear your DD had a lot of flight delays what a bummer but I am so glad you guys all made the most of things when it came to that.

I haven't ridden SM in ages, and my husband has never been on it. perhaps this is the year to change this....

Monday morning--DD leaving and I am tryi ng to keep a happy face on. I always, and I mean always, get sad when she leaves a family vacation. I know, I need therapy!!:D We got ready, she packed up, and we headed down to get her checked in for the magical express. We couldn't do much since her flight leaves MCO at 2 and you have to be down there 3 hrs. before to get on the bus. The CM couldn't find her reserv.on the flight. After 15 mts of trying everything, we finally figured out they had her leaving on Tuesday instead of Mon. Ahh ok breakfast now that that's settled. We grabbed some at the marketplace at the resort. Then, it was time to go get the suitcase and her to leave. We didn't have to wait but 10 mts. Hugs and kisses and she was gone. Yes, I did tear up! We had the best time and these trips come few and far between the older she gets and has her own life to live. Don't think I will ever get over missing her! ;) Anyhoo, DH and I headed over to MK since the weather was good today. There were a lot of things we didn't do due to the rain yesterday! As we were on the bus headed there, I got a text from DD. The next ME stop was BW and the Village People were packing up to leave from their concerts at Epcot this weekend!! The bus driver ran over to get their autographs, but he wouldn't let the DD and 5 other ladies on the bus get off. But, DD said it was quite exciting seeing them up close. Memories!!
The DH and I had the whole day relaxing at MK and enjoying ourselves on our last day. I kind of hate last day at WDW cause I dread the drive back and hitting reality. But,the DH has to get back to work so we can do this again!! We ate snacks for lunch and stopped by Columbia Harbour House for the salmon, broccoli, and couscous for dinner. It was a great day!! We watched the fireworks, saw the new images on the castle, and saw the electrical parade!! A great ending to a magical vacation!!
Tuesday morning--got up, packed, got breakfast at marketplace and headed to @figmentfan423 famous shopping outlets. I wanted to hit that Disney store. We found some good deals. That will now be incorporated into my drive back home from now on. Then, the long drive home. Ten hours later we pulled into the drive. And wondered when are we going back??

We did. We have found out that when she flies to just go with the flow! LOL
Oh you definitely need to ride SM. Yes, go on all the rides you've never been on before. It is so much fun!!

Always glad to help a fellow shopper find a deal!:) I love the outlets! Find a lot of things to put away for Christmas!:)

Thanks!! Probably not until 2015---we are planning one of our two-week trips next year up the East Coast!! We've never been past VA. Unless, we miss WDW sooo much and can add it to the vacation fund!! Forgot about my trip with DD to NYC a few years ago!! But the DH hasn't been past VA! OOps.
You will love it!! Hope it stays around and wasn't just for the F&G festival!! Your DH will really like it!!
Really??? EOS is the best!! Everything we've had there is scrumptious!!
