Heigh-ho, heigh-ho it's off to Disney we go......

So to preface, this is absolutely my first pre-trip report. Hopefully, I won't ramble on too much and get boring. ;) I am so giddy from the excitement, or is it that big cup of coffee I had earlier--no, think it's the Disney giddiness!!

So our Disney trip is in less than 12 hours from this moment!! Our trip is April 17-April 23 with 6 day park hopper tickets staying at the Beach Club Villas for 3 adults.

My DH and I are driving down, which is about a 10 1/2 hr. drive with rest stops and quick meals. We will be getting up around 4 a.m. in order to leave about 5 a.m. Hoping for no construction along the way but I-95 usually has some. Our DD has to work the day so is taking a later flight down. She has to fly to DC for two-hour layover then fly to MCO. Her flight gets in after midnight. It is going to be a long night!! Will definitely need coffee Thursday morning--lots of it!!:D

We have plans for certain parks on certain days, but sometimes that just goes out the window. Some of the must do's this trip are:

We do want to see the Village People! Hey, we grew up with them!! LOL
Gotta have one of the magic cookie bars for @real mad hatter.
Outlet shopping one day, which I have never done for @figmentfan423.
Have some wonderful cocktails for @littleroo and the above friends!! and too many others on here to mention!! Honestly, it would take a page for them!! LOL
Enjoy the Flower and Garden show. I always like the butterfly house.
Relax, relax, and enjoy my family most of all!

Well, now if only my DH will get home from work, he can be excited with me!!
To all my Disney family on here, I will miss talking every day and will be thinking of you!!
Be safe and I will tell you about our adventures when we return!! :)

Okey dokey now!! Hey guys!! Missed you all terribly!! I will try to remember what we did this past week. I usually keep a daily diary of our trips, but past the first day--not this time! I was too tired to keep up with it.

Wed. a.m.-- We were getting up at 4 am but the cat decided to let out a big meow at 3:30 so up we came out of the bed. We got ready and packed up the car and were on the road by 5 am. Definitely stopped by Dunkin Donuts for coffee!! The drive down was good. Moderate traffic-more than we actually expected for middle of the week. Weather was great though. I hate driving in fog and rain so none of that. We got to the BCV resort around 3 pm. It was sunny and upper 80s!! We were so happy!! We were welcomed home in the lobby. I had already done online check-in so a CM was waiting for us. He went to print off our tickets then told us our room was ready, but it was a wheelchair accessible bathroom. We were not happy with that. Apparently, no more rooms available. Three adults cannot get ready at the same time with no separate vanity. Also, no shelves to put all our toiletries. We could not get another room that night so we stayed in it. We would get another room, if available, the next morning. :( Ok so we dumped the luggage and went to Epcot. I needed a drink. We found the dole whips with spiced rum and it was sooo good!! The CM put a lot of rum in that dole whip!! I think he could tell we needed something! LOL Ok better now!! Until--now remember our DD is flying down to meet us after midnight. Well, she headed to the airport and got an alert on her phone while driving there, her plane was grounded due to weather in Chicago. So it may or may not get to NC and it may not get to MCO until 3 am. She said no way- so arranged for her flight to go out the next morning. Looking back, it actually worked out better for all. She didn't have to share that teeny bathroom with us and we had the whole night to ourselves. We walked around Epcot, which immediately relaxes us. Rode figment ride for my friend @figmentfan423. We had dinner at the Tangierine Café. We shared the med. sliders platter. It was very good. Liked the chicken slider the best, but DH loved the lamb one. Lots of food, so definitely enough to share. Walked over to HS. @mrdisman we actually got a different ST ride this time!! DH was so excited since we keep getting the same ones. Walked around there awhile and took boat back to the BCV. Very tired and exhausting day!! New day tomorrow though!!
