Heeley's in Disney

I was knocked over by a little #£&* wearing heeleys at christmas time in MGM and his parents laughed  , I kid you not.

Well I informed his parents that it was funny FOR SOMEONE WITH AN IQ OF 10! Amazingly they laughed at that too :hammer: . A cast member very kindly checked that I was ok and then asked the parents to 'ask' their kids to be more carefull in future. No mention on them damn things being banned so I'm a little surprised that this rule has been in force for a while. Maybe if a guest knocked over by somebody wearing these things sued Disney for not enforcing these rules something would be done about it?

Okay, here is my question...if someone wearing these stupid shoes or someone who doesn't know how to drive one of those EVC's runs me over can I file charges against them for assault or something?
To answer your question YES:sohappy: .There was another thread a couple months back about Heelez, and in it I posted about incident my wife and I witnessed at a local Supercenter :lookaroun .The teenager involved had been asked numerous times by store employees to stop, and he of course ignored them once he was out of their site. He ended up crashing full speed into a lady, violently knocking her to the floor, causing her to hit her head on the floor, and recieve a serious head injury. The kid got up and TOOK OFF! Another customer and I chased him down, and when the fire department and police arrived the deputy did infact arrest him for aggrevated battery.

I got run into once by an out of control kid flying down the ramp from the monorail. He bounced off and went flying in the other direction....

On our last trip to WDW- I saw a CM at MK tell a family that the shoes their daughter was wearing were not allowed (the heelez) and the parents were very nice and sat their daughter down and took out the wheels! :sohappy: Not only was I glad that the CM told them that, but how well the parents took it and they fixed it instead of ignoring what the CM said.
Now, that being said I have seen many kids and their parents roll their eyes or just look the other way when their kids are either told not to wear them or when the child knocks into someone. I hate those shoes and my kids will NEVER get a pair...
