Healthy may be an optional word here BUT... all the soft pretzels in the world are vegan. I am not sure about the cheese stuffed pretezel, I don't know what the cheese is made of, this may be an exception. I love the sweet pecans in epcot and Germany has a host of vegan chocolate delights.

I have read that Japan has a variety of ice cream pops that are vegan but I am not a fan of tofutti or anything of that nature. If I want ice cream that bad, I assume eat the real thing here.

I am not a huge snacker so, this is a tough one for me.

You can forget the healthy stuff when I'm on holiday and all that walking helps keep the weight off anyway. It's a win win.
Well let me at least make believe I'm going to behave I know I won't but best intentions and all that stuff. I think I'm the only person who walks less at Disney than at home!

Not too many options. Fresh fruit like you already said and then you can find the celery and carrot stick w/ ranch @ some locations. Pickles can also be found in a few locations around the parks. At liberty Square Market they have a baked potatoe, corn on the cob, craisins and craisin trail mix.

The best locations for healthful snacks are Liberty Square Market in MK, Harambe Fruit Market in AK and Anahiem Produce in DHS. Epcot really does not have a compareable snack location unfortunately.

We took a pedometer one year to see exactly how much we walked around the parks for an entire day. That way we didn't feel bad about eating anything we wanted. We walked over 20 miles!! Now we don't even think twice about that extra cupcake!! LOL!

sunshine seasons in the land (qs) has some vegan choices, kakigori is a shaved ice that is vegan in japan, not sure about too many snacks, but at Tusker house, the chef was able to make my husband vegan samosas (the ones on the buffet have some dairy), and most of the cous-cous and salads and rice dishes were vegan.
(now, that was 1.5 years ago, and since then, they have changed to a character meal, so the food/chef may have changed drastically)

oh, and many of the ice cream places have tofutti or rice dream, and some will have dairy free milkshakes and such made with them.

we picked this up at several of the quick service locations for one of our kids meals $5.95.
With the portion size of out table service meals and some of the quick service meals being so large (expecially since desert was included each time) this was satisfying and did help maintain some of the chalorie levels.

Power Pack Lunch:
  • Strawberry Yogurt
  • Carrots
  • Goldfish Crackers
  • String Cheese
  • Healthy ingredient Cookie (it did taste good)
I know it's on the kids menue but we really enjoyed having this option.

oh, and they had vegan divvies cookies forever, but it seems they started carrying a new brownie/cookie company- check the ingredients to make sure they are dairy-free!
Of course there is babycakes in Dtd... not healthy, but good!
We also could get soymilk in quite a few places, and even soy yogurt one time at sunshine seasons. But, ymmv! things change all the time!
If you want, you can contact special diets by phone and ask for an updated list- they are mostly for allergies, but would still help you pick out vegan foods.

I can't remember if it's mousesavers or allears, I think it's allears, but one of them has a very complete list of vegetarian (me) and vegan foods/snacks in Disney. I remember it being very helpful.

Your pedometer may be a little out of calibration. We always take a pedometer so we can graph and report my daughters exercise for her gym teacher in school because we pull her from school. We walk everywhere we can @ WDW and our longest day was 8.74 miles. Not saying it couldn't be done, but 20 miles in a day would have you walking about 6 3/4 hours consistantly without slowing or stopping, going on any rides, meals or pedestrian traffic. Nonetheless with our 8.74 miles we burned 1137 calories with 20,525 steps. 6609 of those step were aerobic which is basically speed walking. We are a little nuts. After burning all of those calories I personally put on a good 5 lbs per week at Disney and I eat sensibly but have been known to enjoy the occasional cocktail.

no idea how, but we eat hog wild at the world (unlike at home) and I always lose 2 lbs or more over the week. We average around 10,000-15,000 steps when the parks close earlier in january.
