On my CP, I saw Sean Astin, Dave Chapelle, Mariah Carey, Clay Aiken, and the most important, Steven Tyler. And I also met a family that was on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It was great!
Awesome, my 3 daughters would freak over Steven Tyler, as we are big fans of Aerosmith and RnRC is their favorite ride. Being LOTR fans too, seeing Sean Astin would be really cool too.

I love it when Extreme Makeover Home Edition sends the families to WDW. I mean how lucky can they get? A free week long trip and and then a new home on top of it. Wow. (okay I know most of the families have endured terrible hardships, but still!!!)

I saw/got to be in a taping with Meridith Viera (I know I butchered the spelling) from the View and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire at Who Wants to be a Millionaire. She's really nice and posed for pictures with everyone.

I was just curious if anyone has spotted a famous celebrity or famous person(s) while at any of the parks. If so, did they look like they were having a good time? I have never myself, although on one trip I think I was over eager and saw a couple of CM's that looked just like Clint Eastwood and John Travolta :hammer:. Would love to hear your stories, especially from CM's!

I have seen the following and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves:

Don Johnson, Melanie Griffith, John Smoltz, Peter Gammons, Nancy Kerrigan, Dan Reeves, Pricess Diana & her kids, Ivan Rodriguez, Hulk Hogan.

I was at Disney the night Full House taped, what was that late 92 or early 93???. I spent a bit of time talking to John Stamos, my friends and I were seniors at Lake Brantley at the time and somehow got an invite in for the taping. My friends all worked in the park (entertainment) so we were able to wonder around quite a bit and talk to most of the cast.

When I would be at the park I would ask my friends "who was in the park" that day and usually at parade I would see them on the bridge. I remember Bill Cosby during the hay days of The Cosby Show. There are some others I just can not seem to remember.

I was there for the parade and of course saw Regis and Kelly.

I know somebody already posted this, but I just wanted to jump in here. I also saw Regis at the Mickey Christmas Party when we visited Dec. 1996. He was pretty far away and surrounded by adoring fans, but he DID have a smile on his face, which I'm sure makes Walt happy.

I also saw Regis and Kelly at the taping of the 2002 Christmas parade. I got a couple of pictures, but they're not very good (there was a huge crowd of people and they were taping at the time and kinda far off the walkway). In one picture, you can even sorta make out Michael Gelman, their producer.

I worked with a guy on my cp whose life partner was good friends with John Stamos. I remember that they took a vacation to New York to visit John Stamos.

I went to Magic Kingdom with Chris Irvine (Jericho), his wife Jessica and their son Ash. We didn't get the whole escort thing though. :( I don't think he is as recognizable as the other wrestling guys and he is only around 5'11" so he blends in pretty well. I guess that counts as "spotting" a celebrity.

I saw Richard Simmons on Space Mountain in 1986. He had his big hair and after he boarded and started to disappear around the corner up the lift hill he said "This is going to be so scarry!"

Another Space Mountain sighting... In 1998 we were in the line just ouside the entrance and Dennis Miller and family were escorted past us.

Well, we were walking through the Beach Club on our way to Epcot... and my father held the door for Al Roker.

Then, I met Drew Carey in the AK. It was like the first week it was opened. He was doing an interview or something in front of the Safari.

Then, the same day... I saw Regis and Kathy Lee eating lunch in the Rainforest Cafe.

....I'm trying to remember if I ever saw anyone else... but I believe that's all.

Breakfast at the Grand

When I was a cp cast member in 2000 I worked in Fantasyland and always just missed seeing someone famous. My friends would say "oh you missed the football team" or "oh my god I got to load Aerosmith". I would come home to my roommate saying "I got to load Bare Naked Ladies", or "unload John Stamos". The closest I came while working was getting to see the back of Michelle Pfeiffershead and loading some soap stars (who I didn't know) onto Peter Pan's Flight. My parents came down for New Years and they stayed at the Grand Floridian. And of course I stayed with them one night. I mean come on it's the Grand Floridian. In the morning, there was a big crowd of people waiting to eat at the cafe' so I sat down next to someone on the window sill. We were there about 5-10 minutes when the man sitting next to me got up to ask about his table. He was talking and I was saying to myself, "Where do I know that voice from?" He sat back down next to me and then our table was called. As soon as I stood up I realized who it was. George Lucas was there with his son, waiting to eat breakfast like a normal person. Not this express no-waiting nonsense like all the others. I guess he is one of those people who unless you know what he looks like you wouldn't know who he was. He was seated not long after us so I got to see him walk by. It's funny I worked in the park all those months and I had to be a guest to see someone famous.
