I'm gonna be sick...

so do I go with the greeting hug? I do right?

Do I invite her in for a drink or when she gets there go STRAIGHT for a cab? that's awkward...

everything is awkward...

i'm gonna have an anxiety attack when she gets there. I can already tell you right now, I'm gonna feel sooooo sick to my stomach when she calls and then I just wait for her to arrive...

:hurl:

Joe, relax.

Don't overthink the situation, because then you WILL make it awkward. It's just a little meal with another person. That's ALL. Even if you do think everything through, it's not going to go as you planned it. So just go with the flow of everything when she gets there. Like Amy said, be YOURSELF. She obviously likes you for you, no need to do anything more.

well when we met we had had a lot of windex in us, but she hugged and kissed me goodnight...
No need for a greeting hug...maybe one at the end of you're feeling it...but no need for a greeting hug...unless you feel it when she gets there...but it's not necessary

Exactly...go with Luke's advice...be yourself and don't overthink it.

I would probably hug, but I've become a hugger recently

Buuuutttt going with the flow trumps hugging. So do what feels right, and, more importantly, natural.

*Catching Up*

and I just pictured myself sitting at a table with someone I don't know... desperate for things to say but with absolutely nothing... looking around the room... just being like "oh my god this is so awkward; what do we talk about"

YAYYYYYYYY

that's gonna happen guys... NO CHANCE I can carry a convo with a girl for like...3 hours...

It will go fine, just don't stress about the details.

Gap called me today like SECONS before my exam started and said I didn't have to come into work today :sohappy:

So that means that I can study O Chem and watch Nip/Tuck and An Inconvenient Truth and go grocery shopping and do laundry!!!

:sohappy:

That's great!!! YAY no work!!!

Here for a final
George totally screwed up my laptop :fork: :fork: :fork:
but he's taking his, so I should be able to keep in touch.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Thanks for the good wishes.
Be good, have fun and...
I'll be back next week!

P.S. Love you Steph!

Have a great trip Dot!!!

Samie I think you're adorable!

And the drink doesn't look too bad either. :lookaroun

Good luck tonight Joe! Is this the same girl your friend warned you about?

Aww thanks you guys!

I think I go hug... make it the flow...

I mean ya know when you're at like a friends of family type gathering and there's that person you just don't know if you hug or not... and you both think about it and then you don't hug and you both feel it???

yeah, eliminate that... just go right for it, bam

Well, I just missed Stephie and Dot today.....poo. :( We had grandpersons' day at school, but my folks weren't able to come this year, because mom's still recovering. Joel stood w/ his class up on stage while they sang three songs....covered his ears, because he doesn't like being around actual singing (but he doesn't mind it on TV )....and just looked at everyone. Didn't melt down though, which made me happy. Saw me and waved. :) I love that boy so much....times like this it's a little hard for me to see him not going along with what the rest of them are doing, but I can't change who he is. And really, I wouldn't want to. He wouldn't be my Joel.

Hi Samie! Welcome home! Book fair went really well - over $200 more in sales than last fall. :sohappy: Next fair will be the end of February during Right to Read week, and I'm actually looking forward to it!

Yeah, like your 11 year old using the dryer door as a seat and thereby causing said door to no longer shut properly. :brick:Repairman coming at 4.
