Thanks Kay! The "borrowing time from the future" part was from my health teacher. So, I can only take credit for the last half of the statement.

So I found a compromise... instead of dinner on Saturday for my mom and it taking up my "DH and me" time, we're doing a big lunch after church on Sunday. (Well, after we go to church, my parents will just come from their house) This way, DH is happy we still have our day together and my parents don't have to drive in the dark, decreasing THEIR risk of hitting a deer! LOL!
