Have you ever *wanted* a ride to break down?

Oh yea, I had to be walked off one of the tallest roller coasters in the world, fortunately there was a handrail and we were only half way up but still quite terrifying
I'm terrified of stairs that go up high, even if there is a handrail. The summer camp I go to has a zipline, and it's 165 ft tall. You're hooked into the wall, and there's a handrail, but it still scares the living (Goofy holler) outta me. Bottom line: I would HATE to be walked off the Everest lift.

Not a "breakdown" in the normal sense. We were stuck on the safari for about 10 minutes when a rhino decided to lay down in the road in front of the truck ahead of ours and refused to move. He (she) seemed quite content to just hangout and enjoy the warm sun. He(she) eventually got up and moved on its own.
Same thing happened to us, and while I was reading this thread I was thinking of saying that, I wouldn't mind if the safari has to stop for a while. Still strikes me as strange that the rhinos can get onto the road.

My GF and I hung out with these guys on Spaceship Earth for about 15 minutes last year. Hoping to get stopped here again, and see what they've been up to.

I've always gotten a kick out of Haunted Mansion stopping, just so I can take a longer look at the sets. The worst was getting stuck in "It's a Small World". After a while it begins to feel like a Twilight Zone episode, with you as the main character trapped inside a music box. The again, that's the ride in a nutshell when you think about it...

We just had our latest trip this past weekend. Friday evening we were on Kilimanjaro Safaris, & stopped *right* in front of the lion kopje for about 15-20 minutes. I hope everything was ok, because all 3 lions jumped on the ground & were looking curiously at something down the road. I think right before we started to move again, some of the animals were possibly escorted back towards their enclosures? Not too sure, though.
The weather was pleasant, & being near the animals was wonderful :) It was a nice experience, but as I said I hope that nothing serious happened.

Of all places to be stuck, that had to be a sight. All the times I've been on the safari, I've never seen any of the cats moving around. Very cool. I'm sure nothing bad happened, they seem to let the strays take their time getting off the road. I wouldn't want to be the people stuck waiting to get on.
