Have you ever had a name for a ride either then its real name?

When I was little I used to call Horizon's the pineapple ride because it smelt like pineapples.

My cousin, who lurks here *HI LISA*, kids called Space Moutian, Space THE Moutian now we all do.
My kids call HM, Spooky Mansion and somtimes Scooby Mansion. I guess it does look like the Mansion from the opening of Scooby Doo.
DD calls EPCOT, Pepcot.
Oh and the Monrail is the Manarail.

My family likes to refer to IASW as Boat Ride Through Hell.

not for a ride, but I refer to the nations in World Showcase as "the worlds"...don't know why?? Also, the first time I ever went to WDW in 2001, I kept calling my best friend's favorite character, Figment, "Filament", so now that name has stuck as well.

MY daughter is 5 and has a few one liners that keep me rolling...
1) Imagination=stinked by the skunk ride
2) Haunted Mansion=Happily Ever After (her favorite part is when you look down into the banquet room and the ghosts are dancing "happily ever after" and yes I took my 5 year old on it-turned out to be her favorite ride!)

So every now and then, we jokingly refer to the ride as Evil prime World.

Get it right!! So annoying. I guess a real pet peeve of mine.

Stitch's Great Escape is 'Stitch Encounter'.
Expedition Everest is 'Everest'.
Ellen's Energy Adventure is 'Ellen'.
Living with the Land is 'The Land'.

Mine are pretty common, though. Nothing on this planet aggravates me more though than "Fast Track" "Fastpass" "Mission Track" "Quick Track" etc. for TEST TRACK.

I myself called SSE the golf ball as a younger kid. Also called Alien Encounter something but it slips my mind. Hated that ride until i was 7 and actually went on it. :ROFLOL:
