Test Track during its grand reopening. Stuck at the Seatbelt check for about 15 minutes then off down the stairs and a handful of fastpasses.
Not a ride, but for a film in a theme park. I was at One Man's dream when a power outage happen and the film stopped and was told to leave the attraction. Got no fast passes at all.
It was nothing compare to the time the engine on a boat died while traveling from Downtown Disney to Port Orleans French quarter. Thankfully the engine died at dock another ferry was able to pick up the guests including myself to Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside.
Also got stuck on Haunted Mansion, right next to the Gravedigger, for about 20 minutes. My niece was getting a little skeeved due to the constant whining of that poor, skinny dog.
Please elaborate...I'm terrified of heights and am curious, how high, were these ladders or stairs?Best evacuation was Space Mountain...at the top...we were the last to evacuate ... down some stairs and then an elevator ride...fastpasses when we got to the exit...
I didn't really think about the stairs. I was so excited to be in Space Mountain and having to be evacuated. I found it a fun event to our vacation...another WDW experience. The CMs told us that we were the last to evacuate, because we were at the top, just before the first drop to really begin the ride. Please elaborate...I'm terrified of heights and am curious, how high, were these ladders or stairs?
You have a very cool pic there!Wife and I were evacuated off Expedition Everest in January. We were so disappointed as this was our first time on EE, and we had by chance ended up in the first car! But, we made the best of it with some cool pictures. Our train was on the first climb. It was not long after that CM's came and helped us down. We were walked along the track back to the station. We were given Fast Passes for the inconvenience. I've added a pic of the group walking back... hope it works in this post!

Back when it was breaking down a lot, I sat on the monorail for 45-60 minutes once. No crying child, but it did get every warm in there. It was over a year before I'd get on one again. We got stuck on the monorail between MK and the CR for over an hour. It started raining was thundering and lighting. It was dark and hot (middle of June), lighting had struck the track. so we are sitting in the air while a thunderstorm is going on around us I am thinking how are they going to get us off of here they have no power. I was not going to climb off this at 50 ft in the air in the middle of a thunderstorm, however they were not coming to get us either. So we sat, and sat. Luck for us the monorail was not crowded, in our car we had DH, DS and DD and on dad and a 2 year old. We did our best to entertain the 2 yr old but after 30 min he started to cry. That was the longest 1 1/2 hours at Disney for us. They finally got power and we could move again 45 seconds and we were at the CR.
