Have universal surpassed Disney ?

In terms of overall theming and execution I can't argue that but in terms of ride tech and execution Universal is on top.
Yeah, but Disney getting Scott Towbridge back means Disney will catch up fast. He's really into that kind of stuff.

And a lot of folks are seriously under estimating what is coming to Pandora.

They've had Trowbridge for nearly a decade lol... In addition WDI has always had the talent to compete just lacked the funding. Universal however going from 1999 to 2017 is total ride tech dominance. I'm personally very excited for Avatar and think the boat ride will be a sleeper. As for Soarin 2.0 i'll reserve all judgment until Summer 2017.

Not in the slightest. MIB had 0 re-ridability for any of us in our party...we actually thought it was pretty poor....and we loved Universal.
And yet you thought Buzz was better.

Maybe another spin on MiB is in order. While not a fan of shooter rides in general, I think MiB is by FAR the best I've ever been on. Buzz is a C Ticket. MiB is a full blown E Ticket with themed facade, preshow, massive themed queue, and a bunch of AAs. Buzz is really just a bunch of painted plywood.

I think if you give MiB another shot understanding how to play it for points it might be a different experience. I always start my day with a couple of rides on EFG then over to MiB for about 5 rides trying for score and different ways to score. You can go round and round on it if it isn't busy

God bless the "Ignore" button.
Until we see what Shanghai actually has to offer Universal surpassed Disney in the Summer of 1999 with Spiderman and never looked back...
I definitely agree for those big enough to ride, but (from what I've seen) Mystic Manor may hold that title for an all-ages ride.
