Hey everybody! Here is the Haunted Mansion theme I've just put together, inspired by the artwork of . For those of you who don't know who is, he's an artist who paints everything retro and jetset. He has created a series of prints for both the anniversaries of The Enchanted Tiki Room, and The Haunted Mansion. The artwork for the wallpapers and icons come from his limited edition prints. All his non-Disney stuff is great as well, so you should all check him out.

As always, your phone or pod needs to be jailbroken, and you should know how to use WinterBoard and SSH.

Enjoy!

P.S: For a cool 'ghostly' effect with the icons, select 'Dim Icons' under Winterboard along with this theme. Also, all the icons can be changed to other apps, just change the name to the corresponding app in the theme folder. Aaaaand, while the screenshot above shows the theme in iPod format, respective iPhone icons are included as well.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
WOW. Those screens alone almost make me want to buy an iPhone! Do you do this professionally at any level?

No not professionally, just for fun. It's fairly simple as long as you have a working knowledge of Photoshop. Again, the great art itself is by , I just turned it into icons and wallpaper.

That is really awesome but I haven't found a simple way to jailbreak my iPod Touch. Seems like it's a million steps...

If you have a 1g iPod Touch, then WinSCP is the easiest way you can go, and it will retain your saved data. If you have a 2g, QuickFreedom is a good and relatively easy option (just watch a YouTube tutorial), however it won't retain your saved data. But that's not a biggie as long as all your apps and music are in your iTunes, you can just resync. I too thought jailbreaking would be a pain, but with these programs, it only takes a few minutes.

I have the first generation, so I'll look into that. Thanks!

EDIT: Still not finding any luck. I've been searching for a half an hour. I keep getting "Connection Timed Out"

EDIT: Downloaded both skins. THEY ARE AWESOME! :)

Glad you enjoyed them, but I realized I left out one crucial step: QuickPWN to actually jailbreak the iPod, and then WinSCP to copy your files over! So you were able to figure everything out ok? If not feel free to send me a PM with questions.

First, I would like to compliment you on such a great job! I love what you've done, and I would like to thank you for allowing me, as well as others, to use it. :)

I'm not exactly sure how to copy the files over to my iPod Touch to start with. Would you mind informing of the proper way to do so? Thanks for asking help. If you would rather, you could send me the answer in a PM.
Thanks again! :)

I'll post a general overview here in case anyone else would like the help.

First things first, your iPod needs to be jailbroken. If you have a 1g, download QuickPwn, 2g download QuickFreedom, and watch a tutorial on YouTube for easy instructions.

After your touch has been jailbroken you will have an app called Cydia which allows you to download free programs and such for your iPod. You'll want to search for WinterBoard (the app that controls themes) and OpenSSH (which allows you to look into your iPod files wirelessly via your comp). Install those two.

On your comp you'll want to download and install WinSCP (this will link files on your comp with the iPod). Watch a YouTube tutorial for proper set up of WinSCP. It's very easy. Once that's all set up you'll be able to drag files from your computer over to your iPod. You'll want to find the Themes folder and place your themes in there. You can find it under private/var/stash. Once you've placed your folder in the Theme folder, you'll be able to find it on your iPod in the WinterBoard app.

Any other more specific questions, just PM me.

Yup, I figured out to use QuickPWN. Was very easy but hard to find. :)

Nice work! I just made a VMK theme for my iPod Touch. :sohappy:
