It definitely seems worth reminding people that much of the team involved in creating the WDW Hatbox Ghost is made up of the same people who were celebrated for his return at Disneyland.

There's more at play here than "kids these days just don't know how to Imagineer". I would think adults with sense would know that.
A project does not have to recieve equal praise as the last one.
You can appreciate the tech and know the teams probably did the best they could under the circumstances while knowing the executive level did not do it right.

Not what I'm suggesting in the slightest.

You can appreciate the tech and know the teams probably did the best they could under the circumstances while knowing the executive level did not do it right.

And yet no one seems to be doing that . . .

You did agree with the insinuation that the Imagineers working on this got to where they are by flirting with their superiors, so one might not be surprised that it could be taken personally.

Where did I agree with that? I stated that it was that they were not allowed by leadership to be your Joe Rhode types that people celebrate.

I said the mentality that people don't care is what gets us the DVC buildings and indoor rollercoaster cloned with missing elements and underfunded upkeep throughout the resort.

Perhaps you didn't mean it that way, but the antecedent to "mentality" here is unclear enough to be construed as such.

Read the entire conversation. The mentality of not caring and this not being an addition people care about themed design placement one way or the other is the mentality I was referring to.

In themed entertainment it is known as declining by degrees.

What does reading the entire conversation have to do with it? You responded to it in general agreement without qualification or pruning of the quote in question, so it looked like you were agreeing with the whole statement. What was said in later posts is immaterial. Again, I said it's very possible it wasn't meant that way, but it's easy to see how it could be read that way.

I am quoting you right now, and I don't agree with all of what you are stating

A quote does not mean complete agreeance. It means you are following up a conversation.

And no matter what let me be clear, I am not the one who had to have a post moderated from a crude phrase. That is why I stated the person may want to step back as they resorted to what this site would consider euphemism-based vulgarity.

I generally prune things down to clarify what I'm responding to, particularly when two-thirds of the quoted content is an unfounded suggestion that people are being promoted based on flirtation rather than merit. But I'm sure at this point that I'm essentially throwing words into the void, so I'll leave it at that.

Your post was edited by a moderator as well, if you haven't noticed. And it's not the first time.

This entire argument has absolutely run its course. Let's all talk about The Hatbox Ghost, why don't we.
