News Hatbox Ghost coming to Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion

On the Disney Parks instagram page it was just announced that several announcements are to be made tomorrow and a photo of the haunted mansion was included. Do we think we might finally get an installation date for Hattie?

Let's hope - though with the movie coming it's possible it's related to that.

I have to imagine The Hatbox Ghost will pop up somewhere around the time of the movie's release. I can't imagine they'd miss the opportunity for synergy.

There’s a chance they won’t have to take it down. I don’t think the DL version had to go down, they just put up a work wall to hide the unfinished product and worked on it at night

It did for a few weeks, but that year it also took 6 weeks to come back from HMH and prep work was done.

This alone shouldn’t cause any extended closure. It’s rather dark up there.

I’m not a fan of when they add digital effects to the mansion, they stick out and are usually easier for people to “figure out” than the classic effects.
