...of the appearances at the Norway pavilion in Epcot by the Hansen brothers from Deadliest Catch? I'm just curious. If I knew they were going to be there I'd try to schedule a quick run down so my family could meet them. My kids especially would just freak out completely. LOL!

I've found out that they were there on here as an early announcement, so your best to find out when they will be there is to check here. Maybe do a general search as to when they were here before. They are at WDW during the off months, summer, seeming as they only go out for the king crab in the last 2 or 3 months of the year, and the opilio crab in jan. the off months they are working on the boat to get it ready for the next season. But I could be babbling about all of this, but I have heard when and where they would be right here.

Okay. I did a search and found that they were there last year mid-July and then again December 11-14. The July appearance was to promote the Deadliest Catch Xbox 360 game release so I'm left to wonder if they'd make another appearance at that time this year. I kinda doubt it. ((BTW, hubby and oldest son looooove that game!)) The December appearance was in between crab seasons which I could see them doing again. What better place to go to in between freezing, harsh seasons.

Just imagine the killer promo they could do: "Sig Hansen! You just finished a marathon record-breaking king crab season catching your quota in less than a week! What will you do next?!" Sig: "I'm going to Disney World!!!!!" Ooooor, gear it towards this year's big marketing ploy: "Edgar Hansen! What will you celebrate?!" Edgar: "Still breathing." LOL! It could work! Now, my commission for those 2 wonderful marketing ideas will be a free DVC membership no less than 275 points. Thank you!
