Has Primeval Whirl reopened?

Indeed, and quite surprisingly Whirl has reopened with ONE SIDE, the second side, from what I'm told is not EXPECTED for about another month...but I was also told that they will be running without FASTPASS until then, and someone here claimed to have had one today, so who knows how accurate my information is.

Looks like a frenzy of people really missed the attraction. FWIW, in the most recent Unofficial Guide Jim Hill mentions the possibility of a replacement that's less problematic but would also fit the Dino-Rama theme. I think a funhouse type ride would be a welcome replacement.

I'm not going to lie, this is probably the most upsetting post I've seen on here in awhile if not forever.

1. Why are you driving a car (probably the Disney van as well) while taking pics?
2. Why are you showing pics backstage? I know it's not of much but still.
3. There are parts for a lot of rides at DAK (and others) backstage. That doesn't mean it's closed. (In this case you are correct but it's not always like that)

OMG end of the world !! How dare said poster take a picture of a colored piece of fiberglass and steel.. Not to mention that sand!?!? End of Disney magic .. its ruined forever. I might as well cancel my trip this week.

FYI some Disney geeks, including me, dig this kinda stuff.. keep it coming!

I think I'll call Disney and cancel my trip next year. Now that the veil has been lifted and I no longer believe fairies are real and that Cinderella doesn't really live in the castle.... life just isn't worth living anymore.

3. Sorry I did not take a pic on stage 10 minutes prior to this pic of the giant blue walls up in front of the ride as we have already seen time and time again. :snore:

I didn't see it open today, they were testing it, and possibly opened it later on.

FYI, if you are backstage, you aren't supposed to take pictures.
