Has anyone used the Free Superbowl Ticket?

Questions for anyone who has used the Universal Superbowl promotion ticket:

How was the tranfer of the voucher experience? Where they strict about the photo ID? For example, I used a short nickname in the email instead of my full first name. I'm not trying to scam someone else's ticket but I did manage to complicate things for myself. I can't remember if we imputed dates of birth in the original email either...

They checked for my family's ids when they used theirs.

I don't know how strict they are regarding that since I just had my regular name on the voucher and ID. Just went up to the ticket booth and was on my way with the ticket a few minutes later.

I'll be using mine in September. Hopefully, as long as the name on the ID matches the voucher, there won't be a problem! The address is different though. :shrug:

Three people in my family got them and we all went at the same time. You need to show your ID at the front and they put that info on your ticket. That is what I remember. It was fairly quick. They try to sell you the uprgrade while you are getting your ticket but that was to be expected.

I used mine in May. The name that I put down on the form when I registered was Nick. I go by Nick, I hardly ever use my first name, but my middle name is Nicholas. When I showed them my license, nothing was said. They simply took the voucher, printed off my ticket and away I went.

Upgrade!?!? The "all you can eat" plan or maybe "Express Pass". There is no such thing as a free ticket in the amusement park biz!!!!

a shot in the dark but what if you lost the thing they sent in the mail? is it possible to show your ID and for them to look up the information or do you need the ticket you got in the mail? I'm 100% sure my mom threw it away when she came to visit me recently.. :brick:

Mine never came! I have the email stating I won, but I never received anything in the mail! I've been told that the database has info on it and all you have to do it show ID... Who knows...
