I came across this on the web, any truth to it?

Orlando - Disney World - Pirates of the Caribbean - The spirit of "George" a worker who died there when a beam fell on him during construction still haunts the attraction. At the beginning of the day and at the end of the day attractions workers must come on the PA system and tell George good morning and good night. If not the attraction has been know to shut itself down adding more work before the workers came go home for the night.

You nver know. I read in a book that I have that Walt was into the supernatural. In the Haunted Mansion there are several pieces of furniture that are from suposed haunted places. Even one of the Piano's is from the Queen Mary Oceanliner which is said to be haunted. Pretty darn neat if you ask me.

I read somewhere, I wish I remembered where, that the spirit of a little boy (possibly named Danny) haunts the haunted mansion. He fell off the staircase portion of the ride after getting out of his vehicle, or at least that's what I remember.

I too read that Walt was into the supernatural. I'm sure that if PotC is haunted, the ghost is probably going insane over hearing that song every day for all eternity. Pretty soon it will take more than a good morning to keep the attraction going, but at least he's not trapped on Small World.

You got that right. That would be really scary. Even scarier than if he was stuck in the Tiki Room.

That's creepy (but of course when I go in December I'm going to say "Hi George" when I'm on the attraction!)

   If I were stuck on Small World for eternity....then u better believe the first thing to go would be the sound system....then the dolls would start losing their heads.....but then again I don't see anything ever haunting Small World because well its hard for accident to happen there...unless someone dies because they can't take those dolls and the music anymore.....and commit suicide or something while on the ride.

I've heard about that one too, the little girl and all. I've always been interested in these things. Please, how do you know about all of them and what others don't I know about? Do share with the group, don't make me PM you. Please :: pouts ::

Ok ill tell you only beacuase mean mouse puted and kissed me, lol. I work at epcot in the la te night shift cleaning the pavilions sometimes. At night after everyone leaves that place can get kinda freaky( freak no pun intended). I was working one night at HISTA and had my headphones on while cleaning the theatre. well all of a sudden something hit my head so i looked down to see what fell and nothing was on teh ground. So i looked around to see fi someone was there and well no one was. I thought it weird but went back to work. A few min later i heard someone calling my name, so i took off my headphones and looked around, no one was there, i shrugged it off and went back to work, i started hearing it again and so i left the theatre to talk to a friend of mine about it. While we were talking a little girl approached us, i could see her and my friend couldnt ( no its not an imaginary friend) she was giggling and running around having fun. She was dreesed in a sun dress that looked to be from the 1800-1900. I started asking people if they had seen or heard anything and most of em said that they had not seen anything but they had indeed heard a little girl laughing and giggling late at night. And so thats how i confirmed that story.

AS for george i had a friend taht used to work there and he confirmed that they do say goodnight and good morning to george everyday.

The walt one, i was on a weekly trip to Magic kingdom, and of course i was takling pictures the entire time. Well nothing weird happend when i was there but when i went to get my film developed, every picture was weird, it was a color roll bought at the parks, but some of the pics turned out black and white, some fuzzy, some out of sync, some with lines. Well towards the end of teh roll there was a picture that was very clear of main street except there is a green vortex in the upper corner. Every picture after that was clear. I think it was walt doing a take five and fixing my camera, lol. Ill put on the pic.

Thats all,
jason

OK, now I am officially spooked.

If that happened to me at Epcot while I was working, the theatre would not be the only thing I would have to clean out.

I actually heard from someone that someone did die on Its a Small World, supposedyl the person leaned over the boat, fell in, the boat ran over them, and then he/she drowned. Has anyone else heard that, or was someone pullin my leg?
