Has anyone had this problem at Walmart before with photos?

This is another reason I've stopped going to Wal-Mart. Whenever I need prints, I end up going to Walgreens now

I have an old Canon Elph Z370 APS camera that I still occasionally use, as well as some disposable cameras. Wal-Mart has destroyed every roll of film I've brought them within the last year. My film goes to Walgreens now.

Has anyone else ever had this problem before?
As it has been mention it is copy right infrigment to reprint pictures done by professional photographers.
Are you pictures stored on an SD card or other disc you can save the picture to and just have them printed out at the self-service kiosk? I usually take them in myself and just print out my own. I am asked only how many pictures I have and they don't look at them.
Good luck, I hope everything works out in your favor.

I had the problem with Wal-Mart a few months back. I took the pics with my camera, printed the picture at MK, and the copyright printed on the backside. Wal-Mart wouldn't let me have extra copies. I had to go back to the MK shop and complain to many people to get it taken care of.

Wal-Mart is terrible with things like this. I would use anyone else other than Wally World. I learned to either take a printer with me to WDW (which is 20 miles away) or just print them at home. Skip the corporate places and do it yourself. This eases the problems that may come up.

Am I the only one using Snapfish? 10 cents a print by mail, or else they will have them waiting for you at Walgreens (at WG prices, though).

I use Snapfish a great deal and have been very pleased with their work. I haven't had them printed at Walgreens, only mailed back to me. If time is an issue, I take them to a Ritz store. I have watched the people at Ritz develop the prints and they take the time to look at each print, correcting it as needed for the best print possible. Maybe that is just at the Ritz I use, I don't know if it's a company standard or not.

I refuse to use Walmart or a pharmacy store to have my prints done. I can get better prints at home using my Canon 4200 inkjet than with some of the stuff I've seen from Walmart, Walgreens, etc.

yeah I had the same problems with walmart, I took my fiancee graduation photos with her in her cap and gown with my Kodak camera and tripod and my cheap cloth backdrop and she calls me crying from walmart because the stupid photo lab morons wouldn't let her print them off. I got ticked and drove down to the store and gave them a piece of my mind, ended up having to show them the SD Card and have my Mom call them and tell them I take photos that good for them to release them and then the guy has the nerve to tell me that all i needed was a flipping release form. If I wasn't for being put in jail on assault charges I would have laid him out on the floor of the store for that.
My whole issue is they try to claim the Digital Millennium Copyright covers all this and after reading it over and over I don't see were and how and personally I think that whole Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a farce and needs to be burned, its just another way for big companies to push around people. But anyway with all the SLR'S in the market now its getting ridiculous that we have to sign a stupid form to get what is ours in the first place.
SO hey SHOP AT TARGET Cus we are "Fast, Fun and Friendly"

i have a solution...get a photo printer and you'll never have this problem again.

this whole thing sounds so silly

True, unless your driver fails and you can't seem to find it on EPSON's website to reinstall!

That's where I ran into my troubles, and went to Wally-World to print... thus the problems began.

I don't get off on all the anti-Wal-Mart sentiment; they are a corporation, and that's nothing new. If one actually pays attention to the news, that company in particular is making some great changes that other retailers aren't (a great example being that they are phasing out all non-energy saving light bulbs so middle America will have no choice but to adopt), but I think that's really irrelevant to this situation.

What you have here is some idiot sales people who get off on using what little power they have over people to make themselves feel better. They full well see thousands of Disney pictures every week and were just giving you a hard time because they could. I agree with other people in saying go elsewhere. Personally, I've stopped using anything but mail order for pictures - they are much, much cheaper and you can usually get them in 4-5 days.

As to a home photo printer, I would never use that for pictures I wanted to keep permanently. Even the best of them won't stand up nearly as longer as professionally printed photos; and when you really break down the cost (paper, ink, etc.) it's just as cheap to go mail order professional.

I love snapfish! They have great coupons on dealtaker.com sometimes. I've always been happy with the prints and the price.:sohappy:

I also love the fact that my out of town friends and relatives can browse through and print off whatever they want. I've used Snapfish to print all my pictures for the past 2 years and have been really happy with them! :)

Thanks for the tip on Dealtaker!

Shouldn't this thread be close, because it has nothing to do with WDW?

But I will respond to your question. I can't stand Wal-Mart. They ruin pictures and will refuse to give you prints if they think it's inappropriate (even when it's not.)

I decided to risk $4 and get some prints at a new Wal-Mart close to home.

I submitted the pics online, and when I arrived they questioned me, but when I stated that I was the photographer, no more questions. I took my pictures and was on my way.

It's weird.
